Quigley Not Running For Executive

I have now learned town of Ulster Supervisor Jim Quigley will not run for Ulster County Executive. Quigley has conceded to Republicans in the know that he recognizes that he would not be able to beat Mike Hein this November. Quigley plans on running for reelection in Ulster.

    I could have told you that several months ago. The rumor you heard was someone's attempt to cover the fact that the Republicans can't find anyone to run so the Quigley rumor was started to try to convince him and keep guys like you busy.

    Looks like a dem committeewoman in ward 1 wont have to worry about making too many enemies, she can just help with Quigley's race in Ulster like she did last time.

    Oh my God. King James the 3rd is not going to follow his ego? I dont belive this. He sucks as as a superviors. NickY was far better than this guy at day to day operations. OH NICKY, CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU' Come back and take this town out of its pain..

    Quigley should just run - AWAY! This guy sucks as Supervisor! We do need Woerner back he at least knew how to run the Town. The Police are going to Arbitration the Town Employees are going to Arbitration. He raised taxes after he said he would lower them. Give us a break! You might not have liked Woerner's style but at least he had results. $1,500,000 in grant money, he saved us $120,000 a year at the Transfer Station. So what he gave the cops what they want crime was down, moral was up and we had a real police chief not a wannabe. Please, Please, Please Woerner for Supervisor!
