Matt Ryan, candidate for Fourth Ward Alderman, was given the Republican endorsement to run for the Fourth Ward. Ryan accepted the endorsment a day after losing handedly to Shirley Whitlock at the Democratic convention. No surprise here, the guy is a Republican in every sense of the word. What is disturbing to me is one of the questions asked to Mr. Ryan by Ed Palideno, the Chairman of the Democratic search committee, was : If you are not given the Democratic nod would you accept the Republican nod? Ryan, answered : No, I would not, but I would primary for the nomination. Well, he told us half of the truth, he is primary with Mrs. Whitlock. Again, should I expect that Matt would tell the truth? No, he has lied on many occasions. However, this is just another example of why Mr. Ryan is wrong for the residents of Ward 4, he says one thing and does the exact opposite. Reminds me a lot of Lenny Walker, another Democrat in name only.

Yet, the Democrat search committee recommended Matt Ryan. It was only when Jim "The Monarch" Sottile pitched a fit that the party screwed Ryan.

ReplyDeleteI think it is wrong to attack a person on something that is out of their control. I will no longer accept such comments. There is plenty to attack Mr.Ryan on besides the fact that he is a homosexual.
Don't tell us Shirley wasn't wanting the republican endorsement Jermeny you know you wanted it TO BUT RYAN BEAT YOU TO THE PUNCH LINE by the way where was she on Saturday?
ReplyDeleteI doubt very highly that Shirley wanted the GOP endorsement. I know for a fact my boy Blaber never will seek that line. He is better then that!
ReplyDeleteMatt was given the endorsement of the GOP not the nomination. Both parties have a history of cross endorsement when a candidate is a clear choice for the people. Matt Ryan is dedicated to ward 4 and to the city of Kingston as a whole.

ReplyDeleteMatt Ryan is a scheming fraud and a liar. He will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, and he doesn't care who he hurts in the process. People who have tried to compromise with him in the past have ended up with knives in their backs. Matt will tell you whatever you want to hear, and then do whatever he chooses to do. He is not to be trusted - and any deals with him require more than arms length and perhaps a lawyer or two.
