BUMPER OOPS?
So, is Jim Quigley running for Comptroller or not? Well if you ask GOP County Executive candidate Glenn Noonan, Quigley is not only running but he's going to be the GOP hopefuls running mate. It seems an overly eager Noonan printed up bumper stickers for the team Noonan -Quigley and was passing them out at a local New Paltz establishment.
Quigley tells a different side of the story, this was done without my consent, I have not announced for anything. Furthermore, I have met with Mr. Noonan and informed him that I would not be supporting him, said Quigley.
Without the support of Quigley, the bank roller of the GOP party, Noonan's bid for the Republican nomination could be in trouble. Only time will tell.
Quigley would not rule out running for Comptroller under a ticket that did not include Noonan.

Maybe Nooooonan should run for President of Fantasyland.
ReplyDeleteI think if the "bankroller" of the republican party supports and runs with someone not a republican I like many others will not support another republican in ulster county. when another party becomes more meaningful to republicans than a republican then it is time to switch parties. Why be a republican or support republicans if even the party leaders don't? I think it is time to think about what is best and party politics is a thing of the past.
ReplyDeleteThe republican party is in a shambles. There is no leadership from anyone and who the hell is quigley the bankroller? If the republicans of ulster county dont contribute money to the party and one person is funding them what does that say for the defunct party.
ReplyDeletethis lack of support of republicans was started by bonachoke. we need a new senator who represents what a republican stands for.
ReplyDeleteJames Quigley is capable of serving the taxpayers of our County. That's what we need!
ReplyDeleteLeadership of the Republican Party is all about themselves, it no longer for the people of Ulster. At least Noonan has no agenda and cares for the people. Meaning well and doing the right thing is no longer a Dem or Republican thing its all about ego and money SCREW the people
ReplyDeleteLooks like Glen is posting a lot on your site. Give it up, Glen. You cannot and will not win.

ReplyDeletethese posts have nothing to do with noonan and all to do with the demise of the republican party. Republicans in ulster county are finished. quigley whoever he is does not stand a chance for any position as long as he is a republican.he should enroll as a independent and run. Better yet become a democrat and run
ReplyDeletehey quigley you bankroll the republican party, do not endorse the republican in the race,. wink that you would run with the independent. you are just a wannabe player.
ReplyDeleteJim Quigley is efing brillian u morons. He outsmarts Auerbach and Donaldson by exponential dimensions that people in most Ulster can't even begin to understand. Look at his credentials, then look at Auerbach and Donaldson's.... are u kidding me? Seriously the dem candidates are RANK amateurs next to this guy. And I agree, Nooooooonan should run for President of Faaaantassyland and should stop posting here. He's out of his league too.
ReplyDeleteHey 8:51 you sound like a drooler. Try using spellcheck idiot. this sounds a lot like that drooler bonachoke
ReplyDeleteI would expect Bill Berardi to fully support James Quigley- considering the amount of money Quigley has given to Coleman High School- which Mr. Berardi was very involved in when it was in danger of closing.
ReplyDeleteHow is Berardi's support of Quigley bad because of Quigley's support of a valuable community resource, Coleman H.S. ?
ReplyDeleteI like Elliot a lot, think Dave Donaldson has done a better job than I thought he would as Chair.
ReplyDeleteNeither can bring to the table what Jim Quigley would. Jim would be such an asset to UC in the comptroller role. I hope he decides that this is where he can best serve the people of UC and puts his hat in the ring for this position.
Quigley spends too much time in court with lawsuits. Just ask Nickie Woerner, I think he has sued him 2 or 3 times.
ReplyDeleteColeman is a very valuable asset to this community- I would never deny that.
ReplyDeleteMy point is - Quigley has a lot of people in his back pocket due to the money he throws around- good and bad.
How many people do the elected politicians have in THEIR back pocket because of delivered jobs, promised jobs, or sweatheart contracts. At least Quigley has delivered back to the Community fom HIS OWN pocket. Not from the taxpayers' pockets.
ReplyDeleteHe has shown through the willingness to use his own money to sue politicans that he is standing up to them. So ask Nick, did he win or lose thouse lawsuits?
Quigley hates Nickie so he sues him. So what if Niclkie doesn't dot every i and cross every t. He takes money from people who support him and he helps them get their projects done. What is wrong with that? Doesn't everyone do that?
ReplyDeleteGlenn Noonan must be doing something correct if he has been in office for so long... think about that one Mr. 12:13.
ReplyDeleteNoonan, stop posting here. We all know it's you.
ReplyDeleteQuigley suied Supervisor Woerner once and lost as the Judge dismissed the case. Quiqley is now Suing the people of the Town of Ulster for something that Supervisor Woerner was not involved in. He will ultimatly loose that case as well. I hope Mr. Quigley is prepaired to be suied and brought up on possible criminal charges relating to his involement in the "Citizens for Change." As he was the main bankroller of that BS Group.
ReplyDeleteIf this poster is indicative of the caliber of Woerner's supporters, he is in trouble.
ReplyDeletesuied ultimatly loose prepaired suied involement Group.
