This is a nail biter!
ReplyDeleteNo comment about Jacobs being bounced?
ReplyDeleteJacobs bounced? Perhaps the most influential pug in gop circles is none other than Mr. Blaber himself!
ReplyDeleteRow A all the way!!!
ReplyDeleteIronic how Woodstock got the votes for the charter to pass and Woodstock is the same town that ended up taking Quigley out. Apparently, Woodstock does not like Jim Quigley and his politics.
Is this a good time to spend $2 million re-decorating the 6th Floor? We voted for a leader not a King.
ReplyDeleteWhen I asked Auerbach by email "How many votes were cast for you on the Working Families line?" he replied "3,139 out of 38,828."
ReplyDeleteWhile it's possible -perhaps even likely- that those votes would have been cast for him on the Democratic line, his "photo-finish" race really illustrates the value and importance of a third party line. In elections all across the state, WFP votes are often the margin for a winning Democrat candidate.
The race is not over yet! And, yes the Working Families party has been extremly important in this race, no question. Just as important as the Ind and Con line has helped Quigley.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
