ReplyDeleteIt's ironic that most people who vote working Families are on welfare and don't work?

Is that a map of the State of Connecticut?
ReplyDelete$125 the working family can't afford that
ReplyDeleteThe ironic thing about this event is that not too many working families can afford a $125. or even $65. a head dinner.
ReplyDeleteHey 2:55 - I think the point of this fundraiser is to raise money. I think some well-heeled pols like Maurice Hinchey and Kevin Cahill will dig deep in their pockets and drop a buck or two for WFP. They should! WFP is a good investment.

ReplyDeletePlease post that The Town of New Paltz Republican Committee also endorsed Nina Postupack & Don Williams for County Clerk & County Judge, last month.
Our local "media" have not printed my press release, but that is nothing new !
Thank-you for your fair-mindedness by posting this.
Thank-you,

From the WFP website:
ReplyDelete"We did it! Our grassroots campaign to raise taxes on the wealthy to prevent budget cuts to schools, hospitals, and lots more ended in success."
So, they support class warfare. Workers of the world unite! Marx would be proud. But remember, Lenin referred to the western Left as "useful idiots."
"The WFP knocked on over a half-million doors to help defeat the decades-old Republican State Senate majority."
So, they are a front group for the Democrat Party, not really an autonomous Party.
"The U.S. still has 48 million citizens with no health coverage, and millions more who have coverage but still can’t afford prescriptions, vision or dental care. The U.S. is the only industrialized country in the world that doesn’t guarantee citizens’ access to basic health care... The Working Families believes the solution to the healthcare crisis starts with guaranteeing that everyone has access to adequate, affordable healthcare."
So, they believe in socialist solutions for problems without specifying who pays for them. Not to mention ignoring the fact that almost all of the 48 million mentioned actually have access to health care through government sources but have decided - for whatever reason - not to take advantage. Case in point, most New Yorkers who are eligible for Family Health Plus have not signed up.
"That’s why the WFP is fighting for public financing of elections, a bold idea that would radically level the playing field between working families and powerful corporate interests."
Another socialist solution. Another idea for which no payment source is specified.
I think you get the drift. The WFP is a know-nothing socialist propaganda machine. Their sole purpose for existing seems to be to generate votes for Democrat candidates by telling people they will get all sorts of goodies which no government could possibly pay for.
i wouldnt support anything jeremy blaber supports
