Gilda Riccardi
One positive thing that came out of tonight's convention was the unanimous nomination of our next county clerk Gilda Riccardi.
Pictured above is Gilda with my other favorite county official, Ulster
Comptroller Elliott Auerbach!

Two true professionals who both serve Ulster County with distinction.
ReplyDeleteHey 2:58pm -
ReplyDeletePass the Kool - Aid, please,
you are so delusional i want to drink some of that stuff.
Kool aid,? How about Nina Postupack? She invented the shit!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the alternatives aren't shining examples are they? I think I'll stick with the party of ethics and moral fiber, and we know the pugs don't have either.
ReplyDelete9:29 Come down off your high horse. Neither of the two major parties has a stranglehold on ethics or moral fiber.
ReplyDelete12:27-Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the past eight years, you know that the Republicans have lost all claim to either ethics or moral fiber. To say neither party has a "stranglehold" is attempting to make light of one party's complete and utter failure to uphold their duty to its constituents. The fact that one party has is hardly a "high horse" stance. It's not my fault or any other Democrats' fault that the Republicans are beneath contempt and insist on wallowing in filth. They do have a choice you know and they choose to be the very worst scum. Try as you may to do damage control, the ugly red Americans have become the Taliban to 80% of Americans. Their platform only appeals to 30% of the electorate, while the Democratic platform holds a solid 70% approval. I think there's a massive advantage to the Democrats that makes a Republican victory pretty unlikely.
ReplyDelete2:49 I have not been living under a rock when talk about 'ethics and moral fiber.' Here are some examples of the recent Dems federal, stae and local: Spitzer, Hevesi, Blago & Burris and Ulster County's own Koplo. Get over yourself.
