Kingston is going to be the hot bed Democratic politics this year.Jerm, try to be a little more shall we say, distant in your reporting. The winds and the stars say there is a real zinger coming to the Mayors race. All the declaired canidates have not yet declaired.AHH... spring brings hope eternal, and so does a good old primary season.
look at freeman video on their website, they pan the crowd. Picture was just the angle of where people were not standing. 50 is honestly a Conservative estimate..
The setting was perfect, a rainy dreary day at the boarded up welfare hotel. This is what the city has descended to, this is where we need to start rebuilding and revitalizing.
Talk about honesty and accuracy. No press conference on the steps of city hall, no courthouse with the picture perfect background, no forsyte park.
This is what we have to address going forward, stand up and recognize it.
So, everybody come on over to Turco-Levine's mayoral announcement on Friday 3/28 at Forsthye Park. We can then count how many came to hear her plans for kingston because we all know that how many attend the announcements will determine the winner in the Mayoral race. seems only fair...
There is very little news in the "revelation" that the republican committee supports cahill. Afterall, the household product who runs that group is in debt to "Wee man rich" up to his cotton tips, for leading the coup that got him back to the chairmanship.
"Wee man rich" is a loser, and soon he'll be a two-time loser!
FYI, The City GOP Committee has not made any selection as of yet. Cahill's 'recommendation' was from a 5 member selection committee. There is a bit of disagreement among the entire committee with their choice.
I am under the impression that both candidates are strongly supporting Jim Noble for Alderman at Large. He's the most qualified and is doing a great job.

Good job Shayne.
Yeah I will go with your number Blaber but I also saw Republicans there that can't vote in a primary.
ReplyDelete42 is what I counted
ReplyDeletestill double the amount Clement Hayes had at his on a bright beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteBest campaign photo I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteare you joking 5:27? Hayes had a very big crowd
ReplyDeleteumm, I was there Clement Hayes only had about 26 people. Gallo had way more than that and I think even Polacco had more than Hayes did.
ReplyDeleteThe candidate who brings the most people for the announcement doesn't necessarily mean you are the better candidate.
ReplyDeletegood picture. Website www.galloformayor.com looks good too.

ReplyDelete7:44,
ReplyDeleteThe committee was unanimous. No disagreement.
Who is going to be Shaynes alderman at large?
ReplyDeleteThere is no mention of this anywhere
does the Blabes know?

ReplyDelete7:44 is correct. It is a recommendation from the NOMINATING committee.
