You do realize that it's only actually 50 people, but they visit 10,000 times each...
Congratulations Jeremy!
Yes, my cult following of 50 strong! haha, there are about 400 unique people visiting daily. That number goes to about 800-1000 daily during election season.
And imagine not one bad word about the Bernardos Strange isn't that
Imagine how many more people would visit if you published even a small fraction of the comments that are left. Instead of protecting your friends, let the readers say what they think. You will be surprised at how many more people would read your one sided viewpoint.
I would love to let them all fly but I get attacked when I do that. I get angry phone calls, it's not about me protecting my friends, I don't want to deal with the calls.
By the way, the amount of comments I delete that are written about Hayes or other people I am not supporting are equal to that of people I do support. I "protect" Hayes, Andi and Cahill from a lot of nasty comments.
I have left favorable comments and quite a few times I do not see them published. Most of them are not who you are supporting.
Jeremy, you need to tell them that if they don't want people talking about them, get out of the public eye. You can't have it both ways. We all know that you protect Nickie Woerner, up until a few weeks ago Steve Aaron, Mike Hein, Elliot Auerbach and few others. You want respect? That is how you get it, not from deleting comments that you think will get you phone calls.
Like those you protect, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Why don't you write a disclaimer and just let the comments fly. Un filtered, let them go after Hayes, Gallo, Cahill and even your bff Hein. They are big boys and can take critisim.
Hein can't take criticism.
726: I will meet you half way, I will still use my judgement on comments written anonymously, however, I will publish all comments that a person signs their name to.
You are right, people have the right to express their opinion but you should sign your name to it and stand behind what you write.
Blaber I have to give you some credit. You at least post some things.
I posted a very articulate response to Cahill's anti-Anti-Smoking post today. He didn't publish it. It was not personal, it was not nasty, and I didn't mention any politician by name. I only argued against his opinion. He does not like it when he is obviously outwitted with a post. He is immature and in no way ready to run this city.
