At least in the world of t.v. we can now count on a District Attorney that will make sure that justice is served. Jack McCoy, the fictional Executive District Attorney on Law and Order has been elected District Attorney. McCoy succeeds D.A. Arthur Branch, played by Fred Thompson who left the show to run for President.
Fred, however, has been kept on the payroll to investigate if there was any suspicious S**t in the untimely death of Charmin's Mr Whipple...smitty
ReplyDeleteObviously, "Jack McCoy" is wasting his talent prosecuting major cases solved in less than one hour. Lets not forget his peddling of a stock trade firm might also be construed a conflict of interest in relation to his duties as District Attorney.
ReplyDeleteAlas, all is forgiven-- his services are needed right here in Ulster County working for URGENT on a full-time basis.
Ulster doesn't so much as need a DA as some people who will stop electing good ol boys and then just letting it ride.
ReplyDeleteThey really need to sell that jail. Cut our losses: it's never going to get any better, and it will, correction, is, getting worse.
Everybody is on the take. We need new people, we need younger people, we need women in there.
I hear Mr.Sennett once prosecuted a case to verdict in 45 minutes flat. Take that McCoy...another Manhatten lightweight.
