Congratulations to Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee and next President of the United States. Let's hope that in the next few days we get the "dream ticket" Obama/Clinton.

He's not the nominee until August, after he runs the gauntlet of fire. He would have been wiser not to have accepted the illegally switched delegates from Mi. He'll need to do damage control on that one. I think McCain was so giddy with the prospect of beating Obama he couldn't read the teleprompter last night. McCain is the real winner of the primary.

Hil can't be VP. She tried to outshine Bam last night. No boss wants someone who is trying to take their job. oh and then there is Bil who is a loose canon. Its time for Hil to step out iin the best intereststs of the party. Otherwise we run the risk of Hil doing what Bradley did in Ulster County.

CONGRATULATIONS Barack Obama. He and his supporters deserve this hour and the nomination. They are a class act and represent the best and broadest interest in this country.

The fact that he was an active politician for only three years (used as a put down by one commentator) bodes well for his and our future.

Like Roosevelt and Kennedy, who humbly knew their limits and looked to others for expertise, listen and learned from the best, and then led us in the right direction, I am excited about this form of democracy vs what we have currently...smitty
