Stevens Out, Quigley Next
Today Senator Ted Stevens lost his bid for reelection to his Democratic challenger after all the absentee ballots where counted.... One down, one to go.
And don't forget about Al Franken in Minnesota as well. Now all we need is a huge DEM turnout in Georgia for the Senatorial Run-off, and we have our 60 seat supermajority.
This is why, albeit unpopular with some, it is important to bury the hatchet with Sen. Lieberman. For some of the legislation that President Obama supports, we will need every vote possible.
Fondly,
Joe the Democratic Plumber fron NY, as not to be confused with the political hack faux plumber from Ohio
Mr. "no!!" gets convicted yet republicans even think about re-electing him? That really shows how low the red party has sunken to. Are they recruiting from federal prisons yet?
lieberman acts and sounds like he's suffering from borderline depression especially in the facial expressions with the marionette lines and the monotone voice with the missing affect. maybe my tribe, the jews, will denounce him next—just kidding. too bad we can't just bounce the jerks and get real cats in there who give a damn and not just representatives who collect big checks for gum-flapping--these hot air airheads in bull sessions getting the primo health care packages and getting money for doing something that they should not even be compensated for--it should be done as a moral obligation to the district with travel, room and board for free or else just done by virtual teleconference. the whole shooting match is just one giant overpriced waste of time and taxpayers' money. in all the cabinet posts with undersecretaries and deputy ones and on and on and on until the federal payroll is simply a symbiotic flesh-eating virus or bacterium that gets bigger and bigger and survives on its own cannibalistic self-indulging whatever. i hope auerbach wins because quigley is getting uglier every day in his demeanor like some smug elitist--will we have a 'smugshot' of him when the final tally is in. nothing could be worse than alaska almost reelecting the same old republican crook--thanks be to the holy frozen tundra that didn't happen. on 1/20/09 the world will undergo a sea change, a land mass mutation, an air alteration.... barack obama will guide us with the sensibility of a wise counselor and we will reemerge from this mess a better nation never to need war machines I hope and pray. Call me an optimist which is what I want to be in my heart of hearts and mind of minds and soul of soul. Signed: mr. anonymous
Thats the problem with you liberal democrats. You don't want to get along with anyone, Joe Liberman being one, that does not subscribe to your way of thinking 100% of the time.
Its your way or no way. If that is Obama's thinking it will be his down fall too.

DON'T MAKE ME PUKE !!!!!
Look @ his cabinet & advisors, you may want to live in a Socialistic Gulag, but not me, I fear his four years. Hillary, Rahm Emmanuel, Richardson, that dumb Att'y General Daischle, & the rest of em, OY !
I appreciate the indirect support of 8:25 in response to 5:08’s inability to hold anything on or in his/her stomach since he/she obviously has insecurity issues if my comments are touching off the urge to puke. It’s alright to let it become projectile vomit since it will PURGE the 8 last years of the worst administration in the history of the world as we know it. Regurgitation is good for you type of a/holes and will take the pressure off your pea-brain. How could anything be worse than g w Bush whose failings included everything except a major plague but it’s not over yet. Facially Bush is looking more and more like Pat Robertson from the 700 Club which in itself is a scary comparison. I hope for your sake you didn’t say the ‘oy’ word because of my offhanded reference in my openhearted prediction of the way the world is going to be different once the lamest duck waddles off into obscurity without getting impeached but should still stand trial for being a murdering war criminal in the first degree. Your lack of a GED even shines through as a true Bush ‘indoctrine-airhead’ who was too late for the ‘no child left behind’ program but must be standing in line for the Fox news reporting equivalent of no substance and all the wrong facts who like to get heard and should follow the old maxim that children should be seen and not heard. Obama’s cabinet advisors (or secretaries as we grownups call them) are so far removed from a socialist gulag that it’s making me want to toss all my computer’s cookies. Rahm will be the chief of staff and Tom Daschle will be heading Health and Human Services while Eric Holder will be the next Attorney General if confirmed and not the way you confounded so much misspelling as you went which is to be expected from someone not awake enough to realize what a horrible period of hell Bush/Cheney dragged us into and what a reversal of misfortune we are approaching. You really should research the ‘socialistic gulag’ comment you made as well. If anything Obama will close the American gulag known as Guantanamo. That’s where we have our very own private and secret interrogation chambers reminiscent of Russian imprisonment systems. Maybe you should just move to Crawford, Texas and help Bush do what he really is most qualified to do which is cutting and burning bush. Maybe he’ll let you borrow the bushwhacker for a cracker or two. Signed: 8 years of Obama will not be enough!
Socialistic Gulag is a pretty nice thing compared to the Fascist terristic state Bush brought us. One thing I'll give the chimp credit for, he single-handedly destroyed the right-wing for at least a generation. I hope the puking of the bushies leads to a thinning out of their kind from society. The fourteenth century can have them back.
Obama wasn't my first choice, but his picks so far have him growing on me. For anyone to think that these Clinton era thinkers are some bad idea, they'd be clearly showing a lack of intelligence. This new generation of voters has put down the old theocrats and neocons for a long time. A disturbing sign of the malcontent's nervousness is the spike of gun sales in this region. Those troops Bush trained to kick down doors and take guns away, will be pretty busy soon here at home. They won't be taking away guns much longer in Iraq. Maybe it's time for a mass migration of the gun toting bible thumpers back to Babylon? All those empty C-17's going back over there to bring back our troops could be filled with "god's Warriors" for a one way trip. That's an infringement on the constitution that even I'd support. For every anorexic/bulemic bushie I come across, Obama looks better and better!

ReplyDeleteIs it true that an individual double voted and the DA has done nothing about it - like the Jail investigation?

ReplyDeleteI would rather not have the 60 votes if it means taking back Lieberman. The guy is disloyal and should be stripped of everything.
Rumor Has It... Cosme was spotted at the local library reading the YouTube, Terms of Use.

to 5:08, comeback in 1 year and let's compare if we are better off then or now.
