Poor Manuela the grifter is being persecuted again. I hope she gets what's coming to her and all her sleazeball friends like 7:40 end up bankrupt too. The negative repercussions of being involved with that woman will last a decade.
That's interesting since the Arson Task Force report stated that it is undetermined. Not that we have ever had a successful arson prosecution in this county anyway.
"Hmmm...how can we collect insurance money on a structure that no one will care about and not endanger anyone's lives?" The fire starts 20 minutes after the shift and a cop just happens to be riding by. Nick gets almost half a million dollars in insurance money, doesn't rebuild, and puts the money into the reserve account. Perfect plot to boost the reserves from $14,000 right before the election.
A professional Arson Investigator would look at an undetermined fire origin as a possible arson until shown otherwise. They would look at who had something to gain. Let's see: the town was talking about closing same, the town was talking to the city the week before about combining services, the tow was talking about selling the valuable property but was taking a lot of political heat not to. the town wanted to move the site. the town had a $140 K building insured for over $400K and now is looking at rebuilding on less valuable real estate. The town that was broke suddenly has a windfall of insurance monies. the town now has the potential to sell the property for millions and get out of financial trouble. Everyone knows the Arson Task Force has no authority and is a joke..... and WHO is going to investigate the Town ??? The Town Police is going to investigate their sugar daddy? AND the day after the fire the Supervisor ordered the remains torn down and removed... Any evidence that possibly could have shown some type of origin is now gone forever. The real question is have ALL Town board members and ALL transfer stations employees been interviewed and asked to take a polygraph? There are too many unanswered questions NOT to ask each and everyone of them to submit to a polygraph. The guilty party will almost always refuse... Let's see who refuses!!!

C) The town starts lookng for alternate sites for the transfer station
D) The senior center is relocated to where the transfer station was.
E) Convenient and coincidental course of events.

ReplyDeletetwo days later the insurance company drops a $440k check on Nicky's door? Come on....how is that possible?
ReplyDeleteLet me guess, in a neighborly fashion, Jim Sottile has offered to the Town of Ulster residents the use of the Kingston Transfer station.
