Sottile the Modest One

It was reported today in the Freeman (my bible) that Mayor Sottile is taking his personal vehicle out and plowing areas of the City of Kingston. Mayor Sottile says he feels it is not newsworthy. I disagree. It shows the level of dedication that our mayor has for Kingston and he is to be commended.

    Is he sober??

Sounds like a danger to the public.

I caught that little blip in the "Freeman," as well - and I'd like to say thanks to the Mayor!

Perhaps if he wasn't so much like an "Oz" figure, hiding behind the curtain, we would have a more balanced (realistic; the plusses and the minuses) view of him than we have?

Isn't it illegal to plow streets with a non-state vehicle? Who is he going to come after, when is transmission is toast.

Hopefully he wears his boots while so doing:
"The boots he does wear, coming out from his lair, while plowing the streets, readying for more treats. While Alderman Al (not exactly his "pal"), could serve him ice cream (not the BEST winter dream!)...But let us now wait-- for it's truly too late...Teetsel's came and it went...past is past and it's spent...like the money for boots thus refrains from self-toots--- for it's payback you see...for peace on the tee...to a round grand as Hogan--shall we glimpse Ellenbogen?"

The City of Kingston is lucky to have a Mayor like Jim Sottile. He gets alot of cheap shots, but his heart and soul is with the people of Kingston. The typical political hacks would bash Jim for his zeal and commitment, but what have they done for the city? Jim, keep on keeping on.

    Oh please.

By the way, I see Bob Porter praising Sottile. Is this the same Porter who ran for Alderman? Is this the same POrter who was appointed to Tony Crespino's seat by the last Republican Mayor? Some stinking loyalty from him!!
