JB you are rediculous, why do we have to beg you to post our comments, I know I am one person who disagrees with you and the democrat philosophy and keep commenting on the sad state that the democrat administrations have led the City to, but you never post anti JB or democrat comments, it makes your blog less pertinent and justifies all your detractors, wake up before your credibility is ruined, Oh it already is ruined at least with those who disagree.

Holy Holley! Wouldn't move on the jail-too many Republican friends.
Wouldn't move on Resource Recovery-too many Republican friends.
Sweeping Mathews under the table. Shouldn't be prosecuting-too many Republican friends.
Secret bank account.
Hey Blaber-what is the deal with the (democratic sheriff) and his Holley sign on the back of his truck?

Ah the calm before the storm, you can almost hear crickets on these blogs.

I am very satisfied with the current DA. He is putting the bad guys away with solid evidence to convict. As Sennett keeps harping on the Matthew's issue in the DA's office, I find myself being disgusted with his relentless one subject discourse. It takes time to build a solid case. What is the hurry as long as it gets Matthews convicted in a solid case without the chance of an appeal. To say that he should recuse himself is a foolhardy inflammaratory remark by Sennett garnered to get votes for him. After all, it will be up to a jury to have the final say. Does Sennett also want to sequester the jury too?
I would say that the recent case of the food stamp debacle is being handled correctly by Carnright. He is trying to convict but at the same time is trying to get the taxpayers money back. To me, that is a major scoring point and he will be getting my vote.
Not sure if Blaber will publish my remark but here it is..

You Know what JB youo are a fraud, you fail to post any comment contrary to your own tenents, it's really a shame because honest discourse is a plus to the democrat system, you are attempting to direct debate in your favor and lose credibility with both your proponents and detractors, sorry boy, you are a fool and shouldn't appear to contribute to an open forum, why don't you post opposing comments, The democrats have screwed up the city of Kingston for far too long, it is a ghetto, a slum with the exception of the Rondout and Up town, everything in the middle is trash and the fault of the democrat party.

seems the DA can't handle basic bookkeeping or follow procedure.

11:42-You obviously don't realize that the chance of a successful appeal with Carnright himself prosecuting it is nearly 100%. It takes quite a gall to make such a claim on your part or a substantial amount of ignorance.

11:42 What lacks in Ulster County is the strong presence that fraud and theft will not be tolerated by the DA or taxpayers. Look at all of the investigations the current DA has passed on: Jail, health dept., RRA and he thinks he can handle Mathews alone? Wrong, he is a potential witness. A 5th grader could figure that out.

Let not fool ourselves here, the only reason Carnright has for prosecuting Matthews is to give him a free pass on appeal. The notion that he wants to be the one to throw the book at his good friend just falls flat. Noble effort? Headline maker? None of those excuses are going to cut it. The cat is out of the bag. He withheld crucial documents here and then threatened the comptroller over it publicly. The real question here is who gets to appoint the new DA if Carnright pulls off this caper and gets booted?
