Shirley Whitlock's Clean-Up a Success!

Rev. Shirley Whitlock poses for a picture at her community clean-up that drew the neighborhood together and worked to lift the moral in Ward 4. Shirley is making Ward 4 a place where people can be proud of and her efforts are to be applauded. It's my sincere belief that Rev. Whitlock is putting her words to action and will be successful as the next Alderwoman of Ward 4.

Too bad the kid in the wheelchair can't get into Cahill's headquarters.

I didn't see Denny Ryan in the picture. Perhaps he was giving head at the basement?

Alderwoman Whitlock looks like she really cares.

YEAH I HEARD LITTLE DICK IS GOING TO OPEN UP A SOCIAL ROOM FOR HIS CAMPAIGN FOR FOLKS IN WHEEL-CHAIRS. I GUESS THAT MEANS THEY CAN GOSSIP AND PLAY CARDS WHILE REAL PEOPLE ARE WORKING UPSTAIRS IN THE REAL HEADQUARTERS. WHAT A JERK.

Didn't Bush do a similar photo op in New Orleans? I'm sure that got all the praise it deserved.

Too bad the kid in the wheelchair can't get into ANY office space above the first floor in the Koeing building.

If Sottile threatens people that even think of renting to Cahill it sort of limits his options. What does anyone really need to get into someone's headquarters for? They can see and speak to him on the phone or through email. And, I sure that if they asked he would be more than willing to meet someone at a different location to talk or answer their questions.

Good to see she finally did something for her ward, looks like a political smoke and mirrors game to win votes not that she catres about her community to me doing this three days before the primary? and Sottile bought all the gifts to give to the kids I smell a rat! doesn't matter Ryans got the othetr two lines now and he will win on election day good try rev!.

Jeremy:
I do not know who this Denny Ryan is but stuff like posting 1:59 should not be allowed.
If you can not keep up with the filtering your blog then you should close it down, the person who has to go that low to get a point across has no right giving their opinions.

Ryan holds 55 democrat vote

Whitlock holds 59 democrat vote

Ryan holds the republican line and the Working families line

Whitlock holds no other lines

Ryan is going to be the next Alderman of the Fourth Ward with no problem

Sure nice to know that the mayor has plenty of money to buy gifts for children to buy votes for his hand picked girl Shirley Whitlock!
The public is going to see right through this one buying votes and what does the mayor want back in return? a rubberstamping yes voting no mind of her own parrot named Shirley Whitlock thats what! you guys just make it easier and eiser for Ryan to win come Nov. The success will soon become failure when people realize she doesn't care a bit about the Ward just buying the votes and then she will be exactly like the guy who endorsed her Alderman Brown a do nothing no good never calls back Alderman who had let this Ward down for the past four years.

Whitlock finally does somethin for her ward cleans up her own street wow-
No show Shirley didn,t show up for

The make a difference day

The childrens parade

The crime night at block park

The safet city rally

A single neighborhood watch meeting

The last common council meeting where the union that endorsed her was addressing the council and she didn't even show up to support them?
And won the Democratic line by a slim 4-votes
bye bye Shirley hello Ryan

Separation of Church and State, hmmm.

I wonder how residents in the Rev. Whitlock's ward will feel, if elected, when she needs to abstains from votes because of the separation issue. Clearly she would not be representing her residents in that case.

...I suppose its similar to Benedict Bob [for 8th Ward residents] when he abstains from monthly votes pertaining to "bills to the city" because his employer Jaffer gets a monthly check for the work Benedict Bob does as the City Electrician.

Question?
With Shirley Whitlock being a full time employee at Bank of America and a revernd on the weekends when will she have the time to serve the people of the Fourth Ward? She already has proven that she is a no-show at several local meetings and events then there is the headlines in yesterdays papers about the metn lab on Center street and that several residents were arrested in different drug busts throughout the midtown area I feel she feels there isn,t really a bad crime or a drug problem in Midtown and she lives on prospect a street that several homes have been raided and closed for drug activity? Why haven't we heard a peep from her on her views about the crime and drug problems?

This Shirley Whitlock person has a lot of nerve just before the primary I get a letter from her asking me to write her name in on the gop line this after I see her critize Ryan for being crossed endorsed by the gop party this women talks out of both sides of her mouth anything for a vote Shirley I guess well me and my other gop friends know who stands for crime reduction cleaner streets and more police hired and he doesn,t need the mayors money or the parents children bribed to get our votes Ryan will win the general election and I think this Shirley person knows that to be the case.

Dr. Whitlock

It was my vote along with my wife and children that put you over the top. Good Job

Hope you had a meaningful
Yom Kippur.

I do not belong to either party but I am a registered voter I will be voting for Matt Ryan in the upcoming election and if he doesn't win we will be moving out of the Kingston area, to little to late Whitlock will only mirror our current Alderman brown's current trend of doing nothing to help the fourth ward problems, with a meth lab found and closed in our ward the arrests of five more people dealing and selling drugs in our ward the 7 or8 stabbings and shootings nd the death of a sixteen year old all in this ward yes I would say rome is burning Mr. Brown and it's time someone like Ryan took the sitution seriously.

has she done anything for that park that's just 500 ft from her own front door? or the building on 70 franklin st that is totally covered with gang tags-? no this show she put on for the primary is just that a show to buy votes and that is all.tell her to go get drunkagainover at the cozy taveren or at mariners like she usually does.

is it true that Ryan has adopted two children from drug addicted women who are serving time in prison and both of these children are going through withdrawls and are addicted as well, He is a brave person and someone I can look up to and would like to have as an Alderman of my ward.

I am a resident of the fourth ward and I applaud Shirley Whitlock for her clean up the ward day. Forget the timing of the event (hopefully her motive was to make a difference in the ward and not just to get elected in it). I also have to applaud Matthew Ryan for all he has done for our ward. Cleaning the railroad tracks and
Van Bueren St. park and challenging out mayor to clean up drugs and prostitution, etc. He has also run the Neighborhood Watch for the past two years and has been a voice for our ward when our Alderman Brown remained silent. I am a fan of anyone doing things to make my ward a cleaner and safer place to live. I think the difference between the two candidates is win or lose I know Matthew Ryan will continue to fight for the fourth ward. I am not convinced Shirley Whitlock will. I ask everyone in ward 4 to join me in supporting Matthew Ryan on election day no matter what party you are in.

how many black republicans are there in the Fourth Ward or in Kingston for that matter?

To 704

From what I was told both

CB Love Child #1

AND

CB Love Child #2 Are both African
American and are registered members
of the Republican Party and both live in Ward 4..Do not know who they voted in the Primary
but #2 has called himself and Reagan-Cahill Republican and thinks a lot of Cahill Sr and has worked on the Cosme Campaign

YEAH YEAH YEAH MATT RYAN ADOPTED TWO DRUG ADDICTED KIDS, I THINK I'M GONNA CRY. I CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S EXPLOITING THOSE KIDS TO GET ELECTED - SHAMELESS !

Anonymous said...

kinda like exploiting a bunch of kids to clean a street and bribe them with wallmart cards three days before a primary to buy you votes in a Ward you,ve done nothing in-sound familiar? Thank you rev.Shirley Whitlock.

Anonymous said...

yeah yeah yeah how is Ryan exploiting his own children? I haven't read any of that stuff in any of his voter material that was sent to my house, have you? is it true? and if it is, who wrote it on this blog? inquiring minds want to know? besides if it is true it's a great thing he's doing for those kids!!.

Anonymous said...

So does that mean that Jennifer Ringwood uses her children as political fodder? I see her and her kids at several political events around the City? is there something wrong with that?

Anonymous said...

I still have a problem with the seperation of church and state and the Whitlock thing, it just isn't right either your a rev or a politician not both and I feel if she were elected she would vote the will of her congeration not the will of the people of the 4th ward.

First let me say, that I am not a NY resident, but I was born in Manhattan and I must speak on this.

I would like 2 say that anyone taking a moment 2 clean up what is needed should be recognized & appreciated. There are so many who love to say question Rev. Whitlock for her cleaning up her and other communities, but the question that we need to ask ourselves in/out of our own community what have we done or what are we doing to make a difference. Never judge the book by its cover! When you have done unto the least of them, you have done a great thing. Why are you hating? I tell you why, because you are not doing anything to make Kingston any better. Instead of hating, join in and support.

For all of you who have negative things to say about each person, do what you can and leave it up to the one who has all power and let Him deal with each one if they are in the wrong. God is in control!
