Kingston Times; Vote for Gallo

The Kingston Times Has endorsed Gallo for Kingston Mayor. I encourage people to pick up a copy of the paper. Not only did the editorial board call Gallo the most impressive, and pretty much paint him like the next Andrew Cuomo; they ripped apart his Republican opponent saying he was not even qualified to be an Alderman. It's a very telling and well written editorial. ok..   ;~)

Yes, indeed. They said what a lot of people have been thinking all along. Polacco offers nothing to the residents of the City and he got where he did by sheer luck and shoe leather, nothing more. Shayne Gallo really, really gets it. He's the whole package deal.

I like that "ok" thing he's got going there. To a nyc guy it's a comforting gesture. Every time he says it I have a visceral reaction to chime in "f'n aye" like the "amen" in a black church down south. You're lucky you have a guy with such a likable character.

Where is the City Democratic Chairman sitting out on all of the races. Never see him or hear from him since his loss in th eprimary. Is he afraid to show his face.

We are fortunate to have a candidate like Gallo. He is intelligent, knowledgable in city government, and passionate about making Kingston a safe, desirable place to live and work. God help us if Polacco was the best option we had! Polacco has worked hard at talking to the people, but that simply does NOT qualify him for the job. Nor do the 2 terms he has served on the council, during which he has voted NO on almost every vote, and introduced no significant proposals. Shayne Gallo is the clear choice to be the next Mayor of Kingston.

Palacco is the clear choice for knocking on doors elsewhere to get business for your city. Send him out to every casino, movie studio , hotel chain and just tell him to sell, sell, sell like a traveling salesman. He's got the personality for it and after not getting to be mayor he deserves a position on the team. At least he has good intentions. Cahill has nothing to offer.
