Dozens of Local Businesses Show their Overwhelming Support for Gallo at Parade

Shayne at the parade, he has assured everyone this is the last time he wears the transition glasses outdoors ;~)

The St. Patrick's Day parade this weekend and it was a blast. A lot of hometown pride, Brian Cahill said it best on his facebook, the AOH sure knows how to bring the community together.

I also saw a lot of support from local businesses along the parade route for Shayne Gallo, businesses starting from the Academy Green to the end of the route downtown, were displaying signs in their windows supporting Gallo's candidacy. I did see a few people wearing stickers for Cahill and Polacco but the support for Gallo was overwhelming.

Didn't Tom Hoffay announse he was running last week at city hall? Gallo is the stronger candidate to beat the Republican in November. Hoffay's time has come and gone.

No the new Alderman of Ward 6 Clement Hayes said he was running.

No, Hayes Clement is the Alderman for Ward 9. Hoffay was there supporting him, as were dozens of business owners and citizens.

Met Mr. Gallo at the diner the other night, had a great conversation with him! His plan to actually focus on midtown is exactly what is needed. I will be voting for Shayne Gallo. Now please everyone stop with the campaign stuff it's only March! Blaber you too, focus on Golden Hill or something, it's too early for mayor or exec or any of that stuff.

To 6:24 PM--Hoffay was very noticeable in photo when Clement announced last week, as were other aldermen lending their support or just jumping in for a photo opportunity. To 6:29 PM--alderman of Ward 6 is Polacco, don't you know your demographics? As for 12:17 PM--It is not too early for anyone to announce and get to the gate. The more the merrier. Get on board for the ride. It's going to be a kick-ass campaign this year.

I guess Mike Schupp is not capable of managing the DPW and neither is Bob Senor and the council mmembers who favor to suspend brush pick up during the summer months. Why would you pick up brush during the growing season makes sense not to, idoits they are. Mine will be put on the curb an dleft there all summer. The City is already dirty and this will only make the "quality of life" even worse in this City.

Not picking up brush is not a solution to a problem it's creating a larger problem through out the whole city.
