Gallo Wins Second Debate

Democrat Shayne Gallo won the second debate in a row over Hayes Clement and I think Gallo won pretty decisively. Hayes Clement back tracked on questions and just in general didn't bring his A game. Democrat Shayne Gallo was ready and prepared, answered questions intelligently and overall did a really good job connecting to voters. Please click the link below and listen for yourself, I was very impressed with Gallo.

Gallo Debate   Click link then hit listen on the Monday, 8-29-11 show, skip to 1hr and 9 minutes in..that is when the Democratic debate starts.

What about the second Republican debate?

I agree, and hopefully he gets the nod.
Clement has already surrounded himself with a bunch of self serving wannabes, and is proving to be no more than a stuffed shirt, ready to play politics with the local big time cronies.
We dont need that at the helm

Being a good old Democrat you won't comment on the wghq Republican debate also being a gutless Democrat you won't have the nerve to comment on the wghq Republican debate.

Ahem . . . did you by chance forget to put "Democrat" in front of Hayes' name?

I agree. Gallo won. The answer to 7:24's question is Cahill He won his debate easily just like Shane.

It looks to me like Gallo and Cahill are the two best candidates.

Too bad they couldn't team up somehow. Course they'd argue about Gallo-Cahill or Cahill-Gallo.

Clement sounds like he's sitting on his veranda sipping mint juleps. Too snooty and snobby for me.

435 Is Hayes a Democrat the way he talks and some of the positions he takes makes you wonder!

Has anyone gotten a load of Rich Cahill's corny little signs that you need a magnifying glass to see out on the street? LOL! What a maroon! How can this guy be taken serious? He is so burned up over how Andi Turco-Levin took him to school and out hustled him.

Have you noticed Cahill is running the same negative campaign against Levin as he did against Sottile.

Seems he can't live up to his word and run on the issues. Levin wins primary by a landslide.

1003 AMLevin will finish third,Ron second and Cahill first.

Cahill is the best competition anyone could wish for.

I think either Cahill or Polacco will come in 1st or 2nd - Andi 3rd. The good ol' boys are typical ol' geezer republicans. McCain trotted out Palin because he thought the voters were shallow and would vote for an attractive woman. If you talk to anyone about Andi, guys like her, but know that she's an idiot. Women aren't impressed with her at all.

Cahill is the most qualified of them all. It's too bad he ran for mayor last time. If he'd been patient and was on the council for the past 4 years, he'd have been a 3-term alderman who, as an attorney, would be the front-runner by far.

He actually would've had a chance against Gallo or Clement.

I find Andi's or Ron's candidacy frightening. To think that either of them think that they're knowledgeable enough to run the city (Andi - uneducated, one-term alderman) is laughable.

I wish I was running against Cahill too, 4:03. He has all these ideas but no way to implement them. Very beatable in a general election.

6:26 its moron, moron, not maroon!

Maroon will be the color on your face when he wins the primary.

When you actaully look at the candidate and why they are working to become mayor, he has shown the most vigor in the face of his adversaries, and continued to stand by his beliefs and do what he can to better our city.
Cant say that for Sottile, and you probably voted for him (how is that vote working out for you now?)

Envy is an ugly emotion
