Bernardo's First Blunder

Nina Postupack.

Len Bernardo's first blunder as chair of the Independence party has to be trusting and endorsing Nina Postupack!

REWIND: Nina claims she was under no obligation to support Len when he ran for Executive because he was an independent not a Republican.

Well, if she didn't value Len as an Independence party candidate, than, why did she seek the line in her race.

Gilda Riccardi clearly is the more qualified candidate and had more respect for the Independence chair and the platform of their party.

Proof of that us what took place at Rotary park in Kingston on Sunday.

We hear Len and his dog Sunday attended Nina's event, and the co chair of team Nina, Beth Hanigan was quoted as saying how much she dislikes Len Bernardo.

Really...Nina??

It's unfortunate that Ms. Postupack used Len to get the Independence line because she couldn't care less about it's Chair or the values the party represents.

Nina only cares about Nina. Anyone who supports her has their head in the sand (a euphemism for having one's head up their ass). She seems nice enough, in that she's pleasant, but she's a back-stabber. She's dumb as a stone, and supposedly wants to distance herself from Al Spada. Why, then, did she allow Fat Albert to buy her 4 tickets (for her, her husband, her sister, and her sister's husband) to a fundraiser and walk in with her? She's so stupid that she doesn't know how to say "No thank you; I have the money in my campaign account and I'll buy my own tickets." Al wants Nina so he can continue his machinations.

It's true, I was there and heard her say it to another local blogger

Haven't you learned anything yet about the realities of politics? It's all done as a matter of political expediency.

What's with Beth Hanigan? Didn't you give a shout out to Beth Hanigan on the blog a few months ago, and then have to take it down because Nina was going to refuse to write her a letter of recommendation if Beth associated with you?

Bernardo went out of his way to appear to be fair and not hold a grudge against Nina after she dissed him during his election. Nice payback team Nina.

I'm voting for Riccardi.

Are the budget #'s on ULSTER IS YOUR TOWN TOO http://ulsterisyourtowntoo.blogspot.com/ real, did Nick really spend all that money?

sad that you all dont know the nina postupack that i know & have watched in government service for years.

She is a true, dedicated intelligent publi c servant who sacrifices much of her life & family life for the benefit of Ulster County residents.

Partisanship has no place in the County Clerk's office & she is the embodiment of that,
SHE HELPS EVERYONE !

you,
JB, know this & should be ashamed of yourself for pretending differently, just for democratic partisan purposes.

my vote is going to Nina because i CARE about Ulster County & not just my political party, unlike you & yr blogbuddies.

funny that you say that politics has no place in the clerks office 11:11, I have talked to many people who work in that office and they say that it is the most politicized office in all of the county departments.

I am told that interns are used to work on Nina's campaign, and who can complain about anything when Nina and her sister are in charge.

WTF.... Van Blarcum endorses Nina? I just saw the video on Clark Richters website. It is complete BULLSHIT that Van Blarcum takes the Democrats suppport, effort, campaingers and most importantly MONEY, then when they need him, he turns his back on them.

That's it from this Democrat. He is out in my book.

5:13--your a lot of BS. Put up or shut up. Give names!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm sick of I heard this or someone told me that. All nonsense, both Nina and her sister have worked for the county over 25 years. they started from the bottom and worked their way up the ladder. Its refreshing to see two sisters who respect each other and have a love for family.

Beth Hanigan is a wanna be. I like Nina and have a lot of respect for her but as far as Beth Hanigan goes poor choice!!!

Van Blarcum is a smart man, sticking with what works.Someday you will understand that you can't please everyone. Same goes with Nina, but theres no since trying to convince you of that here on the Dem's boards. 7:24pm. come up with something new, instead of the copy / paste you did from Mojo. Boring !!!!

Ditto 10:28 pm.

9:13 - I'd be happy to name names, the problem is that the people work for Nina, and they would probably be fired on the spot.

I can tell you that one of these people is an individual that I met who told me that they would be very interested in meeting Gilda Riccardi. The person seemed to really like working for Al Spada a lot, but can't stand working for Nina. That is the person who told me how political the office is now, about the County employees doing campaign work for Nina and how they can't complain to anyone because Nina's sister is 2nd in charge.

This is not the only person that works in the office with a complaint.... just one story. There are more.

Aren't they covered under CSEA and civil service rights to prevent actions like that from happening? ( out right canning that is)

9:13 - they worked their way up the ladder? Hello? Al Spada is Nina's godfather and was her boss. That's how Nina and her sister have been able to "work" their way up the ladder. Spada owned the fucking ladder!

Anonymous said...

9:54... is that a double entendre?

Was fucking meant as a verb or as an adjective, or both?

Anonymous said...

11:57... it sure would be interesting to see a ladder fucking, now wouldn't it? I'm sure 9:14 meant it to be an adjective...let's hope, anyway!

I'm assuming it was Nina who put the church pews in the Motor Vehicle Office and a number system as a way to remind the customer that it is like going to the old fashioned butcher such as they used to have at the old Governor Clinton Market.
I personally am waiting with baited breath to find out when the old-hard-as-stone kneelers that were at St. Joseph's church when I was growing up will find their way there too.
I want a sign posted also telling the public visiting that office of motor vehicle whether we should genuflect and if so is that when our number is called or after we are taken care of by a clerk?

Van Blarcum's endorsement was a slap in the face to every Democrat who helped him. We'll remember. He has some explainging to do. Don Williams is a disgrace. Check the video and see him make his non-endorsement/endorsement of Nina. Some judge, he can't even get through a political race without breaking the spirit and probably the letter of the law.

Don Williams is QD's lap-dog. That's why he'll win.

While everyone is so concerned with the Independence line, it would probably make more sense to make a "Coleman" line to identify the large number of "democrats" who claim that they will vote with their party but will likely vote with their church once the curtain closes.

Take a look around Kingston and notice all the cars with Obama/democrat stickers along with Williams stickers. The same people displayed Bradley/Bruhn stickers a couple of years back.

Does anyone really believe that certain local "dignitaries", ie: the St. Josephs/Coleman crowd, is going to pull a voting lever for someone they believe is going to hell because of who she has sex with?

Does anyone believe they are going to vote against Nina who still proudly proclaims her roots and connections to Coleman and the Catholic community.

Personally, I have more respect for a republican who is honest about their convictions that a professed democrat who says one thing in public and then brings their priest with them into the voting booth . . .

Coleman/St.Joseph's Church crowd? Come on you have to have a better analysis than that. Kind of presumptuous and ignorant of you to assume you know how people vote based on where they go to school/church.

I keep seeing the " RiccardiForClerk.blogspot.com " on all the boards, yet none of the people that think she is worth voting for feel the need to support her on her blog board?? Or is it that who ever is running it hasn't released any posts yet? What the hell....

9:31...maybe none of those people read these blogs. What credentials do the blogmasters have? Blaber? We don't even know who ucmojo is (though I have my suspicions). Why would anyone (of any importance) take these blogs seriously? For me, and I hope for most, they're pure entertainment.

It is only ignorant and presumptuous if it is not true . .
