The Poll

Despite what Alderman Cahill claims, I did not cheat on the mayor's poll. The former Alderman will tell you as he told me that there is no way to cheat. He knows as someone that uses blogger you can only vote once per computer, he was the one that informed me of that.

Clearly both Jim Noble supporters and Rich Cahill supporters sent mass e-mails having all their friends vote. Which is fine, the poll is for fun and is not scientific. Mr. Cahill obviously takes it a little too serious.

For the record, I like Jim Noble he is a friend and would easily support him for mayor but in this poll I voted once for Alderwoman Jen Fuentes (WF-5)

Jean "Miss Kitty" Jacobs had all the stray cats in K-Town log-on and vote for Cay-Hole.

Not true, Jeremy....I've voted 3 times already over the past several days. I don't know how often I can vote, because I think the whole idea is silly, but I think once you sign out of Firefox and sign in again, you can vote again.

If you look at my blog, you will see I made no such claim. In fact, I commented that I really do not care one way or the other about the results of your blog.

I was annoyed at first, because I prefer fair play. In the end, however, the results made no difference to me one way or the other.

Little Richard Cahill is a case study in paranoia, insecurity, under achievement and social awkwardness.

He is the guy who got kicked just for the hell of it when he was a kid. He is unusually attached to his parents (as if he is still a child!). His minor successes in politics were far more attributable to displeasure with his opponents than support for him.

Having no personal experience with him in his professional life, I rely on the impressions of those who do and they say he is not a serious attorney.

One of these days he will wake up and realize that he is just a bad fit for politics. Maybe he will end his self indulgent blog then too.

In the meantime, it's good to see someone thwarting his attempt to hijack this poll.

A few words for that twerp: Go away, please.

11:02,

Relax. I know Jeremy is cheating and falsely adding votes to Noble.

uMM, still going with you didnt say it?

Kinda reminds me of when Hinchey said he didnt tell that reporter to shut up and you pounced on him for that.

What a silly waste of time and energy, especially since neither Noble nor Cahill are likely to be their respective parties' candidate for mayor next fall.

Noble is way too lazy and out of touch at this point. (Hmmm, wonder which city-paid "environmental educators" were ginning up the votes for him on this poll.) And Cahill is way too polarizing and volatile, witness his reaction to this little tempest.

No Noble will be Kingston's next mayor.

Clement or Turco-Levin (not even included on the list, JB?) will be elected mayor next time. Noble might become mayor if Sottile blows town in the next few months but he won't run for a full term once he understands how difficult and unpleasant the job is.

Cahill came up a little short

rich cahill is A nasty little prick. He makes a big deal over things that only narcissistic egomaniacs care about. I wish he would run for something so the people who he has been bad mouthing so much have an opportunity to band together and make sure he takes the beating of a lifetime. All of his comments, insults, name calling, lies, and innuendo will come home to roost. Run you little prick, I want to see you cry again.

10:05,

I have seen Rich Cahill work as an attorney. He is professional and extremely good. Whomever you spoke with is very misinformed.

I am not a supporter of Mr. Cahill. He is too conservative for my taste. He is an extremely good lawyer though.

Now you are cheating for Clement?? Your poll is a joke.

I have a question for Cahill and Blaber.

Have You Ever had Coal In Your Stocking?

LDWP,

You seem to like talking shit. At least Cahill has the guts to post under his own name.

Why don't you grow a set and publish under your own name? It's easy to offer insults hiding behind a rock. Try it under your real name tough guy.

I'm unimpressed by the whole poll thing... this just draws traffic to your site.
I'll do a lot more for my candidate than mouse clicks, and I won't dignify and nuisance poll. It's political and what Kingston needs is good government, not a horse race.

I agree with 8:31. These anonymous attacks are just shit from gutless scumbags.
