Hayes is not a bad guy. He chose in Nov. 08 to get involved when he registered to vote here. His first time voting in Kingston was in 2009, the year he ran for and won for Alderman.
I think it's good to have a mayor that has only voted in Kingston twice in his life. He brings a fresh outlook as an outsider who has no ties to Kingston.
Andi is going to get her husband and his former bandmates to do a King Crimson reunion as a fundraiser at UPAC . . . Now that would be a valuable service to the community.
A Clement/Levin ticket would bring a total of three years of common council participation. Good plan from someone who up until 2 years ago was still registered to vote in NYC.

I removed a bunch of comments regarding an allleged politcal meeting. All parties involved deny a meeting took place. I take all of them at their word. If the poster can provide more details and or leave his/her name I will publish the comment.

What have I heard? From a reliable source, that there is at least one head that might get knocked off his self imposed pedestal in the Sheriff's Dept. The Feds involvement....not just about MAtthews. Not in the least.
On a calmer yet important note... Does the D.A. have enough funding for his office to do his job?? Carnright says in April 3 2011 Daily Disappointment that he has only one investigator. Is that enough? Look at all the Assistant D.A.'s he has in there(county website)!! Does he need all those D.A.'s and only one investigator?? Let's make this thing an actual discussion instead of playing one personality against another....or would that be too "different" for Kingston????
