Excerpts from Senator Clinton's announcement :
I'm in. And I'm in to win.
Today I am announcing that I will form an exploratory committee to run for president. I believe that change is coming November 4, 2008. And I am forming my exploratory committee because I believe that together we can bring the leadership that this country needs.
I'm going to start this campaign with a national conversation about how we can work to get our country back on track. I grew up in a middle-class family in the middle of America, where I learned that we could overcome every obstacle we face if we work together and stay true to our values.

It's nice to dream Jeremy. I guess I kinda envy you, for your simplistic dreamlike view of the national political arena. Here's your biggest problem with Clinton, with the exception of Newt Gingrich (sp?), no one else running has such a high "viewed negatively" as this 'shining star' of the democratic party.
Don't forget, she voted and continues to vote for the war. Code pink and moveon aint too happy with her record.
The only Democrat running that can win the election is Edwards. It makes me wonder if its not some vast right-wing media conspiracy to hype Hillary and Barack Obama, because while they get all the favorable press, neither of them will beat a republican challenger in the general election. Pay attention to Edwards, he`s got the right stuff!
