CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 44TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

President Barack Obama....never thought it would happen. What a great day to be a Democrat and an American.

Amazing how all of you Bush hating "He's not my President" mamby-pambys demand that everyone fall in line behind our newly elected President.

Us Conservatives are better than that, so I think that the majority of us will. It is a time of renewal in America. I can only hope that Obama will govern for all Americans, and use his power to solve some of the most pressing issues facing all of us today. Hopefully Obama will be more like Kennedy and less like LBJ or Carter.

I am optimistic. He deserves a fair chance before we call for his impeachment. ;)

I have voted since I was old enough and never missed an opportunity. My son however never felt compelled to exercise his right until this election year after he turned 34. After he heard the presidential returns he came over and asked me if I had tears of joy or exaltation upon hearing the results because he certainly did! What a great family bonding moment to reinforce the fact that America has voted in the best new candidate in decades and voted out the ‘maverinky-dinky’ ‘maverickety’-old man Mcpain-palin ticket. My son starts off as a first time winner who also experienced catching 15 or so fish the first time I took him fishing. I learned to accept people for what they are at a very young age having spent part of my youth growing up in downtown Kingston and having many African-American friends and girlfriends.
This country will finally fulfill the promise afforded to all citizens with #44--even the number is symbolic to me because I was born in 1944. I am exhilarated and an ex-Hillary supporter. We will turn this negative Bushitis around--and I'm even glad Barack’s name is what it is. America has finally awakened from the nightmare that "W" had wrought upon our nation and our global reputation. Dennis Kucinich gave a rousing speech at the DNC and we have heeded his call to "Wake up America" and now we have to remain diligently on point and message and we shall be fine again. Thank the lord in heaven we didn't elect McCain—even with his subliminally evil biblical name along with Palin who had as much right and qualifications to be selected for the VP spot as the president of some college sorority. Obama should make McCain Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Sarah should go back to being the Governess and fade into some frozen tundra obscurity shooting moose limbs (my bad joke--not Muslims) and keep her eye on Russia for us from her supreme vantage point in her almost-secessionist state of Alaska. The outcome of this election has put a constant smile on my face and an almost pinch myself approach to what actually happened after waiting and wading through eight of the worst years of American history. Turn the page or open a new book because the neoconartist-revisionist historians are outa here!!! signed paulie k.

This Election has been a NEWS EVENT. Massive Election Turnout, well just a little shy of the last Bush Election. Huge Obama Mandate, why not, after all he did manage to get a million more votes than Bush in 2004. Oh, that's the same Bush that wasn't popular in 2004. So what do we realy have, a media created "perfect storm", designed to improve ratings. When will America stop making decisons based on US Weekly & Oprah?

Bush should resign now. Let Obama in now!

"Mamby-pambys"??? Wasn't the chimp a gay cheerleader spoofed by SNL? Funny how the weak throw such names out at their superiors. The gay old party is going out in style. Flamboyant Liberace style. The only line we Americans ask you to fall into is your own mambo line with Haggard and Foley. That's right, We Americans are in control of Our country again and you fringe lunatics can just go home and decorate your pretty little houses. PS- "Us Conservatives" pretty much sums up your level of education.

"Charlton Heston is My president" didn't come from the Democratic majority you know. "Us Conservatives are better than that" - Bullshit!
