Former Alderman Lenny Walker to Run for County Legislator as Democrat

Former Alderman Lenny Walker will seek the Democratic nomination for County Legislature this November. I spoke with Lenny last week and he tells me he is defiantly running and confirmed his candidacy on Facebook over the weekend.

Lenny Walker will be tough to beat. As it stands right now with the redistricting, Lenny will be running in an open district. You can bet the Democratic establishment will work tirelessly to find big name to primary Lenny but he is a tireless campaigner.

I predict a Walker come back this year and Lenny on the campaign trail is always entertaining.

Defiantly? Maybe definitely or could be both. What a race that will be nonetheless.

I am sure defiantly is right...lol.

He will have to be defiant to get Dem support after what he has done to the Democrats in Kingston.

Still running now that he has a Dem to primary? Or will he now switch back to being a Republican again?

Lenny Walker always worked hard for his constituents. He is a person the City resident can count on.

Lenny Walker is a buffoon. As much as I dislike what was done to protect Peter Loughran, it is better to have a guy who never speaks like Pete, as opposed to a guy who will speak when he shouldn't like Walker.

I most certainly agree with 7:40 pm. He is the person the city can count on for sure.
