CLINTON WINS WEST VIRGINIA WITH 67%

Clinton trounced Obama in West Virginia with 67% of the vote. No Democrat has won the White House since 1916 without winning West Virginia. The Super Delegates must go with Senator Clinton so we can take back the White House.

If this doesn't prove that Obama's bid is doomed, I don't know what to tell them. Maybe a cult deprogrammer would be necessary. Obama cannot carry this state and would likely lose so many other states a McSame landslide is the only intelligent outcome to nominating Obama. It just isn't even close to reality to "hope" for an Obama WH. It's about as likely as hitching a ride on a spaceship hiding behind a comet by committing mass suicide.

Hillary said this during he WV victory speach? "...We know from the Bible that faith can move mountains... ". Is that just pandering, or is she suffering from what some here call, "mental illness". She seems to mention God, the Bible, Christian values quite often. She even wears a cross.

Jeremy,
Between manipulated polls and political superstitions (ala 1916). Looks like your trying to steal this thing from Obama.

No democrat has been elected without a majority of the electoral college since 1776 or was it 2000?...smitty

And no Dem has won without the District of Columbia - which HRC lost badly. Dem primary results have nothing to do with general election results.

Either will win in landslide. Obama will do better as president.

The superdelegates would be absolutely crazy to give the nomination to Clinton at this point, since Obama leads in every category. There would be outrage, and it would cause major problems for the party for years and years to come.

And besides, the process matters more than the outcome.

Who really wants Mrs. Partridge as president?

What happened to the "Obama Wins NC with 64%" or the "Hillary Wins Indiana with 50.5%" headlines, Jeremy.

Some numbers,

Obama picked up a net gain of 15 delegates in NC. Hillary picked up a net gain of 12 in WV. Who's the big winner?

Obama netted 223,000 more votes than Clinton in NC. Hillary netted 147,000 more votes than Obama in WV. Again, who is the big winner?

You sound like an ignorant fool. You know full well this thing is over and has been for quite some time. It is time for you to admit it and hook on to the Obama train like you said you would. Stop grasping at pipe dreams. She has to talk like she does...you don't. Yeah, they should just give it to her in spite of the fact that he won under the rules that were set down. That would be very beneficial to the dem. party in the long run, wouldn't it?

I said I would support the party's nominee and I will.

Hey 8:15- it's spelled "speech" and yes she has the affliction. She's the least affected though.

3:58- Nobody has won and I suggest you educate yourself a little better before calling someone else an "ignorant fool" because at this point that term best applies to you. The ruling of the DNC to punish Fl. and Mi. is being appealed. It's called due process. It's an American princple you wouldn't understand. Until all issues, voters, and lastly delegates have cast their votes in the convention, there is no nominee. Obama is not a viable candidate in the GE. He cannot get the support of the core constituency of the party. Support him and elect McSame. Fringe lunatics like you don't make up enough votes to win.

To 7:06...the majority of your party has picked Obama. It is quite clear to everyone, but you and Blaber. You can speculate all you want, but the bottom line is she did not and cannot beat him in a primary. How in your right mind can you say she deserves the chance to go against McCain. Fla. and Mich. give me a break. The manager of HER campaign, in his book published two years ago, said they should lose at least 50% of their standing at the convention if they do what they did. He still stands by this. Big news...that 50% does not get her where she needs to be. She can file all the lawsuits she wants, which she will not do, this thing is OVER! Win or lose you are stuck with Obama...better get use to it.

9:13- You obviously don't know that the majority of the Deomcrats have voted for Hillary. Still today, after all the media coronation, only 63% of Democrats support Obama while 70% support Hillary. Only by including republicans and independants can you say that Obama is leading. We're not "stuck" with anybody until the convention. Democrats have in the past nominated candidates that never even campaigned in a primary. We could still put up Gore if we wanted to.

When Hillary comes back to NY, I think we'll have to buy her a NASCAR jacket and six pack of Coors.I can't believe this is the same person we elected as the Senator of New York State.

Wierd.

If you could just say Obama needed a six-pack and a Nascar jacket, he'd be the nominee! He's failed miserably with joe six-pack. It's no coincidence McGovern and Dukakis are being heard from again. At least we'll get a supermajority in the senate that can steamroll right over McSame.
