So Jeremy, who are you supporting. By the look of you website, it appears you are supporting Williams. Once again, you criticize those who go ooutside their party to support candidates and claim they are disloyal. Yet, when it suits your purpose, you immediately do the same thing. You have and continue to be the biggest hypocrit in U.C.

I knew Williams was accomplished, however, I did not know he was that accomplished. Schneer really has no hope of even carrying this guys briefcase. GREAT JOB by the Dem. Committee putting up a candidate based purely on her political agenda. They cannot get out of their own way and we rank and file dems get hurt in the process.

I am honored to be a supporter & a website contributor to Don Williams' campaign.

He helped keep Ulster County safe & secure from many, many bad guys in his tenure as U.C. District Attorney & will continue on after we elect him U.C. County Court Judge.

A judges responsibility is not to keep us safe and secure. The job of a Judge is to administer and preside over proceedings, and when called upon, to interpret the Law.

This idea that a judge should be a Law and Order Judge is inherently prejudicial.

Sentencing, within the confines of the state criminal statute is the ultimate responsibility of a judge. That is about the only place they have leeway and even then, it is up for scrutiny.

So to you Butch I say, the DA and a Judge are 2 completely different things and should be viewed as such.

Willams is a dope, while Schneer supports dope.

Either way, we lose.

Is Bradley running? ;)

Prejudice is the hallmark of the Republican party. Why is it they feel that any candidate they offer on that basis is even qualified? They're not electing a new leader of the KKK here. The annointment of the pugs is like a grand scumbag award. Any person of integrity should shun it. Wearing it with pride is unbelievable stupidity.

Anonymous said...

Schneer is not qualified.

hey 8:32 -

you calling me stupid ?

you, with your built-in prejudice towards a large percentage of the people who built Ulster County, & many other towns that ignorant people like yourselves enjoy today. What have you contributed ?? i am sure not a thing.

you call us pugs as if that is an insult, but the insult is on you & your ignorance & prejudice.

Contribute in a positive manner or else go away.

More corruption coming if he gets in!

Schneer has never handled even one felony trial in her career. She's not qualified.

Anonymous said...

Yes Butch, you are stupid and you didn't build Ulster County, hard working Americans did. You represent the scum of our nation that demands everything on a silver platter but denies it to others. I know I've done more here than you have. You pugnacious little brats have no claim to this area and won't survive here much longer. I hear you're a unhealthy, short, fat fuck anyway, so you'll die soon from your stupid lifestyle choices. Short, fat and bald are also hallmarks of the red party.

Anonymous said...

Thanks to the internet, I see you're not bald, but you are a real loser in the intelligence department. You'd think you'd keep your stupid mouth shut and not convict yourself. I can only imagine how much you could have screwed up if people were stupid enough to elect you. You confirm my comments perfectly.

I encourage everyone to see what an idiot Dener is. You can see video of him on the internet that proves he's a moron. As for little "Butchie", you made the caricature of yourself and you have to live with the ridicule. Nothing positive for Ulster County will result from making Williams a judge, so just follow your own advice and beat it. Schneer may not have the good 'ole boy backround but most people are happy about that. The last thing voters want is another bought and paid for official.

I like the pug guy. He shows just how ignorant the Democrats are in allowing their propoganda machine to spread the same hate and prejudice that they are supposedly against. They right along with the Republican party are running this country right into the ground. And they are both the reason that the common citizen would rather spit on a politician than even look at them. The common citizen is tired of being ruled by these arrogant bastards. And this ignorant idiot along with his counterparts in the Republican Party just push the cause down the tracks.

Yep, I'm pushing the cart of reason right down the track to a 70% national approval. The pugs are down to less than 20% enrollment and soon they'll be extinct. The Democrats will be in power for at 40 years and you'll be drinking yourselves through another liver soon.

Anonymous said...

Whatever local contributions Dener makes are nullified by his active support of a hate group called the Republicans. The damage done to the whole county from his subversive anti-American activity is immeasurable. As seen here, he is a worthless lowlife that practices silly superstitions and takes advantage of others' compassion to give him a second chance at redeeming himself. Clearly he doesn't deserve a future donor.

10:44-You can selectively point to videos but that's the furthest thing from "truthtelling". Watch any video you choose and they all show a dumbass. A perfect buffoon to make William's posterboy. If you see otherwise then you're probably as intellectually challenged as he is. If he wants the attention, he'll certainly get it by promoting himself on the internet. Nobody can control how it's perceived though.

Your cart of reason is filled with cheating lying bastards, like Rangel, Geitner, Murtha and the lot. They fit in well with a the cart of scumbag pugs like Sanford, Cheney and their buddies.

70% approval rating proves that you live in your own little world. And the 20% enrollment, even more proof of your ass backwards line of thinking even though I wish it were true.

And as for the liver, the pugs can drink themselves to death and still not touch Ted "Blonde in Every Pond" Kennedy.

Keep up the good work, I am emailing this to Ira at the Freeman in the hopes of getting you a regular column. So that we can get this train rolling faster and put both parties out of jobs.

Thank-you, you nasty bastards, for making my point for me.

This type of dialogue is what gets you unqualified single-issue party hacks like Schneer.

Wishing a person dead is exactly what i expect of these "new" dems,, or is it DUMBS ?

Please, keep it up, & help elecy Don Williams with your nasty, nasty diatribes.

You couldnt carry my jock.

You or someone who writes just like you has been posting the lie about Democrats' approval ratings for months. It is simply not true.

Here are the facts with references for anyone who wants to follow up:

According to Rasmussen Reports (which has the most accurate track record for predicting elections and is no friend to Republicans): Obama's approval rating was (at its peak on Inauguration Day) only 65%. It was never 70%. It is now down to 55% and falling.

According to Gallup, Obama's Job Approval at the beginning of February was 68% (still not quite 70%) while those who disapproved were only 12% of the population. Today, only 59% approve while 33% disapprove.

Either way, Obama has plummeted roughly 10 points while disapproval has shot way up.

Rasmussen is also reporting that a year ago, 48% of Americans said they would vote prefer to be represented by a Democrat in Congress while only 34% preferred a Republican. Today, Democrats are down to 41% and Republicans are up to 39%. That is what is known as a statistical tie.

Interestingly, Gallup is reporting that 63% of Democrat voters approved of the way Congress was doing its job in May. However, in June, the approval numbers among Democrats had dropped 13 points to 50%!

It seems that not only Republicans are seeing just how incompetent Democrat politicians are.

I don't know if you were the person I debated on a blog several months ago because you people simply don't have the spine to identify yourselves. However, I asked that person (you?) to give us the source of his/her contention that 70% of Americans approve of Obama and his socialist gnomes (also known as the leaders and politicians of the Democrat Party). You/he/she failed to do so then.

I repeat my challenge. Do as I just did. Give us the numbers, sources, web addresses. If you fail to do so, we have no choice but to judge your claims to be false.

I repeat: Obama's popularity is dropping like a stone. He is a no-talent incompetent and the American people are quickly realizing what a disastrous mistake his election was.

Prove me wrong. I dare you. I suspect that you will not do so because you cannot. You spout fairy tales in the hopes that people will believe you.

Hey 11:30-The pugs are factually below the 20% mark and the democratic platform really does enjoy and robust 70% approval rating. Why do you think so many people are reluctant to enroll in parties? The cart of reason takes its toll on both sides. You poor little pugs always resort to claims of someone wishing you were dead. Are you sure it not you wishing for yourself? This seems to be a repetitive non-substantiated fear of yours. It's just like Yankee Jim again. He had that same paranoid fear and look who did him in.

5:17- You're a complete asshole who changes the subjects to fit his needs. Stick to facts. Enrollment, not personal preferences of non-voters, and issues, not personal popularity of Obama. I'm sure you'll spout other irrelevant polling that you think proves something, so just go ahead and keep deluding yourself. You aren't and neither are your comrades going to stop the progressive movement from crushing conservatives, so just deal with it.

I agree with Imere, how about some links to some of these statistics.

PS: I am not a Pug I am a registered Democrat since I was 18, even though I don't think that they do any better of a job than the Democrats. Every last one of them are theives.

And I did not wish anyone dead. You brought up the drinking reference. I was just pointing out the stupidity in that arguement considering no person on this earth has drank more than Ted Keenedy.

Feel free to send us some true links to back up your arguements. Or are you just an arm of the propaganda machine that is trying to keep the two failing parties in business.

The Republican enrollment dropping below 20% has been a major political news story repeated on CNN since last November. The adoption of Democratic issues by people of all walks of life is also self evident. The 70% figure comes from an average done of all polling data in an article published on the Alternet. It's also routinely reported in the national media. I'm not wasting my time to prove to morons that the earth is round. If you don't see it yourself or don't want to believe what's now common knowledge it's not my job to keep you forcibly educated. Imre chooses to live in his delusion, but anyone with cable and internet access can get up to date analysis. This country is changing faster than Obama and the Democratic party. Hiding your head in the sand isn't making it go away.

Anonymous said...

BTW. I gave up posting polling data because Imre kept complaining he couldn't find it online. Apparently his computer has blinders on it similar to his own. If you read CNN and the Alternet everyday you'd get a better outlook.

10:03 -

Thank you for your pejorative insults. They only serve to prove that you have no facts with which to back up your inanities.

I didn't change any subject. I simply responded to 3:24, showing how completely and undeniably wrong he/she was in his/her assessment of the political leanings of the American people.

Every political analyst knows that enrollment is irrelevant. What matters is how people vote. In 2006 and 2008, many Republicans either stayed home or voted Democrat. In 1994, many Democrats either stayed home or voted Republican. One major factor is the fact that so many union workers feel obligated to enroll Democrat, yet vote Republican once in the privacy of the voting booth. Blue collar Americans have the horse sense to realize just how fraudulent the leaders of the Democrat Party are, proving they are smarter than the pseudo-intellectuals with their Ivy League degrees.

If Democrat politicians annoy enough of their own base as well as those not enrolled in Parties, they will be on the short end of the voting stick. It's happened before, more times than we can count. It will happen again and when it happens, it always happens to the detriment of the Party in power.

Once again, I repeat my challenge. Where is your proof? You have none because your numbers and claims are untrue.

If I am wrong, prove it. It's time to put up or shut up.

Imre Beke, Jr. said...

6:51 -

You never posted polling data. You posted "statistics" you couldn't back up. If it was online, SOMEONE would have posted it just to prove me wrong and shut me up.

Facts are facts. You make up numbers and call people names when they call you on them.

Your comparison to the world being round is quite apt. Those who made that discovery did not simply say it was so. They proved it. What you're saying is everyone should believe what you state because you are saying it.

I gave my identity and my sources for my assertions. You hide behind anonymity and refuse to prove your assertions. Your statements are worthless.

None of what you say is true. If it is, prove it. Until you can do so, your assertions are fairy tales.

Whenever I need to get something done, I will always look for the person with the most and best experience. Without any doubt - that person is Don Williams. I don't see where anyone can challenge that.

Anonymous said...

It all depends on what the experience is. The scales of justice are balanced. Williams is way overloaded on the side of prosecution. Schneer's experience as a judge gives her hands on experience as to what a judge actually does. This doesn't mean she is "soft on crime" but rather she fully understands the persumption of innocence.

Anonymous said...

Experience is the accumulation of knowledge and skill. Williams' many years of prosecution is what tips the scale to his advantage. The County Court Judge's position is to adjudicate our most serious criminal cases - in which, when compared to Schneer - he has all the experience. You just don't get that kind of experience, exposure, knowlege or practice sitting on a bench as Town Justice.

Anonymous said...

Don Williams did NOTHING about the jail costing taxpayers MILLIONS in over-runs.Is this the kind of person you want in charge of the County Court? I say no way! If he was corrupt as a D.A.,what makes you think he has changed his ways.
HE'S DIRTY,and will always be DIRTY!

Anonymous said...

I've had numerous things done on my home where I've gotten estimates only to have the work go way over budget. That's not a criminal offense - I couldn't call the DA to do something about it. The responsiblity of the Jail fiasco falls soley with The County Legislature and the County Buildings and Grounds Department. The Democratically controlled County Legislature did a full investigation and found no corruption or criminal activity. Seems to me Williams is nothing more than a scapegoat for the uninformed people.

The kind of person I wish to see as County Court Judge isn't someone who has years of experience ruling on traffic tickets and SUING the state for convicted felons at Napanoch prison.

I have the great fortune of knowing many police officers, lawyers, probation officers and others in the law enforcement agencies. Words such as "dirty" are never mentioned in connection with Williams. But they do cringe at the thought of Schneer being on the bench.

Aside from your complete lack of information or understanding of the jail over-run, is your claim of "dirty" and "corrupt" backed by any facts at all? It's easy to make baseless accusations, but you must be able to back them up with facts. So please - provide your FACTS. And facts only.
