Noble and Reynolds were quoted as saying the economy is picking up? They must be talking to government and school district employees.

JB: Think you have an error in the affiliation of Polacco and Hayes--backwards perhaps? Nice photo of the bunch.

Ask yourself who attends these events. Jean Jacobs a public servant for over 30 years. She is always in attendance, supporting her community and the elected officials. So often it is easy to cast stones at the people who care and represent the public. I admire her courage, her spirit, her wisdom and her continual persistence to give back to her community, despite how people have treated her in the past. She is a TRUE LEADER.

Hey Jeremy, I was at the swearing in of the council on January 1st and was shocked and amused at how the 2 republicans were unable to "play nice". You should have been there! Thoses two idiots were at each other moments after being sworn in. The next two years should be interesting.

On almost every blog, I see posts from Ellen DiFalco praising Jean Jacobs. Why do I get this bad feeling that she is planning a run for Mayor??!! Could it be that DiFalco intends to convince Jean to run for Mayor to force Cahill into a primary like she tried with his father in the Alderman contest??

Uggghhh, can't the Difalcos just go away??

8:20 I wasn't there but I find it hard to imagine "the idiots" as you said were not getting along. Maybe wishful thinking of a democrat!! Maybe they were 2 intelligent council members having an earnest discussion;something that might be refreshing on the newly seated council.

I want Clint Brown as my next Mayor.

6:56PM--No, the DiFalco's will not go away anytime soon so get that notion out of your pinhead. It would also be in Cahill Jr's best interest to get a clue he is not the best candidate to run for mayor either. We are doomed if he thinks he is.
And fyi--Jacobs would have won that aldermatic race. And as your wish for the DiFalco's, "Uggghhh"...why don't the Cahill's?

First things first, Cahill must secure the nod from the party to move forward as mayoral candidate. He better check his "buddy" list because it is dwindling on a daily basis. He's not as popular as he may think. In the real world, there are more people lining up to take the nomination away from Cahill and the voters should be glad about that.
