97K plus he gets a nice share of the gaming action in K-Town as well. Good for you Frankie!! Keep up the good work!! Just make sure the drugs and gang violence stays in the hood and you'll continue with my support.

We will have to wait for a 10-page report on all that Heiny has done for his subjects.

So, as soup kitchen closed in Ulster County (feeding the hungry) the county got a useless GPS system for its vehicles.

It seems they can't account for the number of vehicles they have much less where they are.

He should give his little speech from the roof of the glass menagerie. He will have a good view of his fiefdom. Better yet, why doesn't he go to Dietz Stadium, he could fit his head in there anyway.

The State of the County in one word.

SHITHOLE

We can't blame the Heinmeister for the sad state of affaris we are in today..it's been many decades in the making. Good luck to you in trying to solve the many problems that plague the County.

Legislators getting high paid County jobs - Provenzano, Mihm, Matthews, Roach, McMickel, etc... Hein will include this in his nepotism program as well as take Hinchey to task for giving Federal aid to his Saugerties project? Shapiro gets money from County for his salary at SPCA while he cut other non-profits?

12:52PM--You left out quite a few other legislators that ended up with county positions. And FYI..SPCA is not funded by the County. Many, many years ago, maybe they received funding, but not now. Do your homework before you make ridiculous allegations. Mr. Shapiro is the best executive director the SPCA has recruited in years.

JB: Are you sure the State of the County will be heard by Heinness Tuesday Feb 16 or Wednesday Feb 17? It is probably a typo. Special Meeting of Legislature is Tuesday Feb 16 also. I wonder how long we have to sit through Heinness's message before business is conducted..Unless they cancel again because of the stormy weather. Another let-down.

Mike accepted ALOT of money from the unions, and now he is preposing to cut jobs? Hein is turning out to be a little sleazy if you ask me...

I think Mke did a really good job last night and is making tough choices during tough times.

Tough choices?? It's not that hard... Raise taxes to protect jobs. Taxes are not nearly high enough.
