Mike Hein Delivers Second Annual State of the County

"I caution any individual whose real intention is to erode the charter or drag the government back into it's dysfunctional past: You will find no greater opponent, I will always side with the people of Ulster County."

Mike Hein's heart is in the right place. He truely wants to promote the health and welfare of the residents of Ulster County. He has put forth sound ideas and programs to the benefit of our residents and business...however, a quick reading of his "State of The County" address counts 66 times that he use the pronoun "I". His problems from both foes and friends is s perceived lack of humility and an over reaching focus on himself. He should reconnect with the humility he possessed when he first ran for office.

Advice from a supporter, check your ego at the door.

Healthiest county in the State?
One thing I can say is you can only improve Mikey! Nice Spin by Lenny Kravits......

Ulster County was 33rd in health outcomes and 30th in health factors. Health Director Dr. La Mar Hasbrouck said the information presents “a great opportunity to use additional data for strategic planning and community involvement as we mobilize to implement County Executive Hein’s goal to make Ulster County one of the healthiest counties in New York State

I like Mike and I voted for Len Bernardo. Mike is doing an ok job and just like Obama, we need to give him a fair shake. No one can really say Mike is doing a bad job.

11;39, you are correct. Mike hein is not doing a bad job. He is doing an incredibly lousy job. Bad is too kind. He hasnt done a damn thing in over a year, other than grandstand. He has turned out to be an incredible incompetent. His best days were campaigning, and it has been all down hil since, including the hiring of his entire campaign organization, at taxpayer expense. By the way, where is Auerbach on that one. Answer, ... nowhere!! And one final note, Dr Hasbrouk, watch your back.
