Gilpatric Did What?!? You're Kidding?
The Daily Freeman has some sort of weird man crush on Supreme Court Justice James P. Gilpatric, it just kills them that the people of Kingston and most recently six counties elected him by huge margins, despite his past mistakes. I mean how many times is the Daily Disappointment going to mention the fact that Jim Gilpatric has suffered from addiction? We get the pont, it's in your newspaper anytime you do a judicial story, give it a rest! We all know and we all accept it. Move on.

I wonder if anyone on the Freeman staff who is writing this drivel has an addiction problem? I think they should disclose that every time they write an article. What about Fusfeld or Adamis? Are they addiction free?
Kirby and Doxsey sure look like they might take a puff on the old ganja once in awhile.
They'd prefer Jewish judges.
Rev. Jim Bakkar
If he was a Republican, you'd still be commenting on it too.
You have to be kidding he did no wrong, he should ahve never ran for judge and sooner or later they will cathc up with him again.
11:51 you anti-semitic bastard
maybe ya wanna meet me & say that carp to my face,, you will see this Jewish person who would shove that prejudiced drivel down yr nazi-like throat !!!!
wanna take me up on this, Adolf ?
11:51, Just punch 11:25 in his recycled liver and you win.
What's wrong with Jewish judges anyway?
As a jew, i would rather go before a jewish judge because he or she might have a better understanding of who I am, regardless, 11:51's comment did seem to attack the local rag for being pro-jewish, which I would disagree as I've read editorials that have been anti-Isreal in their support of the Palestinians.
Shalom...bitchaz!!!!!!
549, how would anyone in this community know what it is like to appear before a Jewish judge. Other than Nussbaum who lost handily, when was the last time Ulster County saw a Jewish Judge? As long as we are at it, when was the last time Ulster County elected a Jew to any elected office? Town Justices, sure, but county wide I think you would have to go pretty far back if ever.
There are no Jewish names on street signs, there aren't many Jews who can boast that their ancestors are buried at the Old Dutch Church and so there is little chance in County wide elections where the old boys prevail.

What the hell was Kirshner.....buddist.
-Hannakah Harry
What does this have to do with religion?
Your phrase "wierd man crush" truly is reminiscent of PigVomit Sottile and the kind of language he uses.
I'd say stop being stupid but too late for that.
