Clueless

Is this guy really our Elections
Commisioner????????

County Democratic Chairman John Parete, who also is an elections commissioner, said it was "discouraging" not to have had the usual near-complete returns before 11 p.m. Tuesday, but added, "What the hell am I going to do? I don't know how these things work."

Do you have any idea how this blog works? What about you Car?

It is not his job to know how the computer system works. It is his job to put in place a process to take and record votes.

Don't be such a stooge for Zimet and Hector.

It's so much more than taking and recording votes...While I like Susan and Hector you give them way too much credit...they nor anyone else controls the content on this blog.

parete has made himself an enemy of the party. he is not worthy of being its leader and certainly not worthy of a $60,000 paycheck.

It's pretty obvious that Parete is only good for losing elections. He'd rather be losing than winning and he's proven it. Time for a new face in this party. Someone who leads by example and inspires others to follow. Parete is damaged goods and should resign for his failure to lead. I don't know Hector, but Zimet doesn't have what it takes. Jon Sennett is the new leader that inspired us all. He brought new life and energy to this race. If he's at all interested,I'm sure he'd make a leader we could all be proud of. He's a natural to the job at hand and truly deserves the distinction of party leader. I recommend him highly and hope to see him continue to push forward in our county. It would be a travesty to lose this man to the greedy self-serving shenanigans that we've seen play out against him.

Only $60,000? Let's hope Jon can work cheap.

The people who brought Sennett to the dance have been undermining Parete for well over a year. Are you now jumping on that bandwagon?

Poor Jon Senntt was used and abused by these power hungry idiots. If they worked half as hard at getting him elected as they did complaining about Parete, maybe things would be different. But then again, that was not their ultimate goal or objective. Sennett will fade away and be forgotten, they are done with him. The rhetoric against Parete will continue.

Why not spend your time trying to build the party instead of conspiring to get rid of Parete. You will have your chance at the Chairmanship when the time comes. Build your base and give it a shot. Until then, please try and work to heal the wounds, not pour salt in them.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the only person to bring Jon Sennett to the dance was Jon Sennett.

This concept that Zimet and Rodriquez brought him is false. Sennett is his own man which is probably why he was not embraced by the dirty insiders.

Bradley carried no town, village or city. Party leaders worked against Sennett from June through November.

For this complete lack of leadership and integrity, Parete should be stripped of all his responsibilities as chairman and elections commish. He allowed a Republican to win. Bye bye.

10:34 - not only did Bradley not carry any town, village or city, he didn't carry one ward in the city - even his own!

Clint Brown needs a job. Election Commish would be pimpin' large!

Clint for Election Commish!!

One thing for sure is that the voting system in this city, state, and country deserves some serious scruitiny.

My chance at the chairmanship? Not for a couple years at least. Jon Sennett will not "fade away" because he's now been recognized and marked for advancement. That's something the New Paltz "power hungry" will never achieve. People who crave power are not worthy of it. Power is best left in the hands of those who are entrusted with it and can use it judiciously. Maybe Hinchey's seat will entice Jon. I believe it's about to open. 10:03- After this miserable display of corrupt ethics,I'm calling for Parete to leave. I don't join bandwagons, only lead them.

I see tuchman is still spouting the same parete lies and BS.

For the last time, the Democrats are in power DESPITE parete and his complete and total lack of any morals or leadership skills.

DESPITE the fact he backed other candidates for county-wide positions the last 3 years.

DESPITE the fact that he tried to recruit candidates to run against incumbent Democratic legislators in the past two elections.

DESPITE the fact that he conspired with the independence (hah!) party to take endorsements away from municpal candidates in the last two elections.

The reason Dems stayed home from the polls is because parete and bradley turned them off with their negative, divisive campaign. I heard it over and over again from voters.

To attempt to give that unimpressive lump bradley any credit is ludicrous. He was a pawn in a power struggle not of his making, sure. But he allowed himself to be used and did nothing to stop it. He's just as guilty as the rest of them: sottile, provenzano, parete, parete, tuchman, et. al....and now let's add the momentarily cowardly (I never thought I would see myself writing THAT word about our Congressman) Maurice to the list.

Come Spring, parete is out a lucrative job. Come Fall, he's out a powerful position.

And again I say: Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Who "marked" Sennet for anything?

Democracy is by majority rule. Bradley was the minority. The blocking of a primary was by MAJORITY rule. Parete did not honor the wishes of the majority. He did not stand up for our party and worked to lose this election for democrats. He did not help to elect the democratic legislators, rather, he rode the coat-tails of our state and national candidates. He is a failure. He took an advantage and turned it into a dis-advantage. Bradley was the least favorable, the least intelligent, and the least ethical candidate. He had no business in politics except to help the opposing party. He can stay a conservative and ride their coat-tails down the toilet. Next year's election will be a major shift in national allegiances that will likely sweep many "new" democrats into office. Bradley will not be among them. Traitors like him have no future. Get over it.

Anonymous said...

...and by "new" democrat, you mean liberal, don't you? Fucking Communist.

Anonymous said...

8:20, I was talking about Blaber, a person that will not sign their name I would not say has a shot at being chair. Blaber is a legit contender. God help us!

Anonymous said...

So now liberal is communist? You're a moron.

Anonymous said...

Same old idiotic rebuke against the intellectually superior, aka "liberal". You just can't handle being stupid can you? If you can't hold your own then move away. You're no longer relevant. Jeremy for party chair is an excellent idea. He's famous from here to DC thanks to the traitors.Btw,conservative is proven to be a mental deficiency and is most like communism. Fascism is even closer.

Just remember folks...Parete is using the computer fowl up to deflect the real issue. The real issue is that Parete did not do everything in his power to get Jon Sennett elected. As Chair of the party is was snubbed his nose at Jon and his ability to win.

After elections that night where did Parete go? Home, Frank Guido's Little Italy to console Vince Bradley or to New Paltz to console Jon Sennett? I can tell you this he was not in New Paltz.

John Parete is pissed that HE was not able to crown a DA. When his own ballot comes around remember that he didn't do his job as County Chair.

Send him a loud message....Send him packing his bags back to the Town of Olive.

Blaber is a serious contender for the chairmanship. At 19 years old the party owes him a great deal of debt. The simple question is are you going to go for it Mr.Blaber?

Jeremy Blaber said...

Never say never but I don't think so.

Go for it Blaber, make my day.
