Free Blaber

Another new website has been launched "Free Blaber", as many of you know KPA has unjustifiably thrown me off the air without any real legitimate reason and refused to grant me a fair and proper hearing. Free Blaber, has been started to get me back on the air as soon as possible. You can go online and sign my live petition, as well as buy a Free Blaber t-shit. More to come. Sign the petition today and send a strong message to the cable commission!

Jeremy, before anyone signs up, it might be nice if you were actually to tell us why the KPA suspended you. Just saying they were unfair and and unjustified doesn't tell me anything. I want full disclosure as to what they are saying you did, why you feel it's unjustified, etc. We ended up in Iraq because people just "signed on" before knowing any facts or details. I know Rich Cahill, yes Rich Cahill, said he agreed that the KPA did not give you a fair hearing, but he also did not elaborate as to why you were suspended.

The short version is this : I was on the commission and had to fix an internet phone that had clogged up during one of the shows. (we have an internet phone, and when a lot of calls come in at once you have to unplug the converter for 30 seconds and plug it back in) the converter was locked up in a cabinet that I was given a key to, however the key was taken by our community calendar coordinator after he needed it to use the computer, also in the cabinet. So, I, took a cd and slid it between the doors and opened the cabinet without a key and fixed the phone. Nothing happened to the cabinet and the program was able to take calls that evening. That's all that transpired.

The day of my hearing, I had a last minute meeting and, I had called Mrs. Alt to re-schedule and she told me she did not see it being a problem. The commission went ahead, Mrs. Alt included and voted anyway.

There is also a bigger picture here, it's called selective enforcement. While Mrs. Alt makes up ridiculous reasons to take me of the air, there are others that are breaking rules on a weekly basis without consequence. It's unfair and that is why the commission lacks credibility.

Sounds like selective enforcement to me! (which I can relate to!) *wink*

Thank you for the explanation, and I agree, they were unfair, and it sounds like, they also (they being Mrs.Alt) lied about the consequences if you had to re-schedule.

Hey, Jeremy, why don't we just dispense with all the rules and regs, and just declare you EMPORER FOR LIFE........Smitty

Jeremy what will you do with the funds from the T-shirt? Mount an advertising campaign. Forget KPA and start your own website with video.

Jeremy Blaber should be put back on the air. He is being accused of wrong doing for what, trying to fix the phone problem that has been on-going since they went from a land line phone. Jeremy has always gone out of his way to help in any way he could to the programing of KPA. I, and I can tell you many of the callers to my show Monday nite were very disapointed that the number one host on Monday nights was taken off the air without notice.

Jeremy,

If the facts are as you say, then I agree that an injustice was done. If you were promised an adjournment and then they reneged without telling you, that is a violation of your basic due process rights.

I would be curious to hear what KPA says. What is their version of events?
