Blaber News endorse candidates in Town of Ulster

Supervisor Nick Woerner- Supervisor Woerner has done extensive work in his short 2 year tenure as Supervisor, including the establishment of a legal police commission, lowering town taxes, and increasing services including expanding the town of Ulster police department. Nicky has completed all the campaign promises of his first term and is best suited to serve the town for another two....four?

Town Board:

Eric Kitchen- Mr. Kitchen has an established business in the town, extremely involved in the community and will always do what is in the best interest of the town of Ulster. He will be an asset to the town board.

Charles E. Thomas- Mr. Thomas has demonstrated superior leadership ability as Deputy Supervisor of the town of Ulster. A life long resident of the town and involved in numerous local town projects. I feel that Mr. Thomas demonstrates the qualities necessary to serve as a councilman and I support his candidacy 100%.

Town Justice : Dr. Aleo- Dr. Aleo has vowed to work with the community in a way a town Justice should, including being on call for law enforcement 24/7 and establishing night court in the town, making it easier for people to come to court and not have to take off a day of work. Dr. Aleo also has vowed to bring compassion to the court room, with alternative sentencing and punishments that fit the crime, amongst other programs. Dr. Aleo clearly stands out as the best choice for town Justice.

Why not jump the gun. The lame Republicans haven't even held there caucus yet. Why don't you just endorse all the Democrats and prove what you really are!

I'm fully aware of who the Republican candidates are. For the record.... Eric Kitchen is a registered Republican and Dr. Aleo is an independent candidate.

Jeremy not endorsing all Dems? Uh oh...not good for the "future" chairman of the Ulster County Democrats!!!!

Dr.Aleo, while he is an independent has received the Democratic endorsement. Mr.Kitchen is a personal friend of mine.

Again, while a few people have asked me about the chair...I will not seek it. It would be an honor to someday be the chair of the county party but not at this time. Check back with me when I'm 30..about 11 years from now.

The Republican Party is dead. A 39% tax increase is not conservative. Nick Woerner has held the line on taxes. Your only alternative to to vote Conservative..if a Democrat is conservative, that's ok by me!

Cal the Conservative

You forgot Highway Superintendent, Town Clerk, County legislators.

Mr. Kitchen is also a friend of mine. He is very capable candidate for the job. Young, enthusiastic and a go getter!! VOTE FOR HIM!

If you want to vote for a real Conservative, then vote for Don Wise endorsed by the Independence Party. A true Conservative denied the Conservative endorsement by a political machine. Don’t vote for a Democrat dressed up for Halloween as a Conservative. Besides Nic only wants to stay around long enough to brush up his resume to move on. Holding the line on tax increases is easy to do if you clean out the Town reserves and leave the problem for the next guy.

Town Clerk..I take no position, both are good people.

County Legislators : Jim Maloney and Brian Cahill.

Highway Supt. Jim Corrigan

You didn't disappoint me. Democrats (except for Kitchen) through and through. Maloney on the inner circle of Nic's CREW. What a joke.

Jeremy, Please....reconsider your endorsement of Jim Maloney.

He is the same guy who dragged the Democrats through court trying to get legitimate petitions dumped. He lost that case since it was bogus to start with. He then went down with the Ulster Town clerk Consenza when they filed illegal petitions and got caught.

Consenza notarized them and Maloney filed them. They both knew they had lied. Consenza did not witness the signatures. Maloney withdrew the petitions after the Courts became involved and Consenza admitted to the Freeman that he was not present for the signatures.

This is not the kind of guy who deserves your support. He is a Law breaker and not trustworthy. Think about it.

From sticking a knife in your back to demonstrating superior leadership ability.

Boy oh boy - Nic's fingerprints are all over this endorsement.

All is well in Nickie land I guess.

Funny thing how Nick and his crew get a free pass on the Bradley stuff and Parete and his crew get murdered. A bit of a double standard isn't it Jeremy? The endorsement is worthless.

Jeremy Blaber said...

Nick Woerner has nothing to do with my support for Mr.Thomas or his endorsement. The bottom line is those two are the best for the town.

I see your boy Nickie is going for the Republican endorsement too. Which is he? He can't be both! Talk about ego! I hope the people of Ulster turn him and his crew out. Including Charlie "the buffoon" Thomas. If he is elected, anyone can be an elected official. He is the most obnoxious, boorish, rude person I have ever met.

name one project charlie thomas was involved in that was not a fundraiser for nick. he has done nothing, ever.

Has anyone asked Ed Aleo what kind of Dr he is? Actually he is not a Medical Dr as he would have you believe. He is merely a Phd of English who couldn't make it as a college professor at New Paltz and found that there is alot more money in selling hearing aids. If he would be that deceptive to insinuate that he is a medical Dr can you imagine what kind of Town Justice he would make??? Scary Huh? Don't believe it? Ask him

Jeremy Blaber said...

Dr. Aleo is indeed a medical Doctor.

Edward L. Aleo is listed as a Ph D.

The Medical Doctors are listed as M.D.

Is that a Ph D. in English?

It's my understanding that Dr.Aleo is an eye doctor. I could be wrong...I'll double check.

The problem is that he is running for town justice and he lets the misconception go on. It isn't whether he is or not, it is that he does not refute it. He is being deceptive. Even you thought he was a Doctor right?
