Reynolds compares Bradley to Humpty Dumpty

Hugh Reynolds, in his Saturday column, compared Vincent Bradley, Jr. to Humpty Dumpty. A pretty fair comparison.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. ( Vincent Bradley's cake walk prior to his convention loss)
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. ( Vincent Bradley's crushing defeat by Johnathan Sennett)
All the king's horses and all the king's men ( John Parete and his 19 Appointees)
Couldn't put Humpty together again. ( Bradley not granted the Wilson Pakula, by King Parete's stacked committee.)

Hugh Reynolds captures the essence of the Bradley campaign. The role of the DA is to evaluate evidence and prosecute in pursuit of Justice. The Bradley campaign is a weak candidate backed by a machine of disingenuous, self important, ill informed blow hards. What is best for the office and the people of Ulster County? The committee voted once and will vote again against Bradley.

I feel Vincent Bradley Jr. should be allowed into the Democratic Primary vote. Let the people of Ulster County decide if he is the best qualified canditate to represent the Democrats as District Attorney.

the committee already decided. get over it. he is not a democrat. how about we let republican carnright primary on the dem line too. why not conservative dick cheney.

Great idea. Let Carnright primary on the Democratic line and while we are at it open up the Conservative line and the Independance line to all the canidates so that the all the memebers of the respective parties get a say. Just like Bradley and his supporters advocate for the Democrats.

Stop all the back room deals.

the only one proven to have tried back room deals is bradley. just ask kevin cahill. he will tell you all about it...he has the time now that he has stopped reading and giving interviews to the freeman.

Maybe the committee has decided, but the people have not. Let the voters decide. As far as whether he is a democrat or not. He has registered as a Democrat and he has been raised in a democratric family. Once again, lets open this up to the voters of Ulster County to decide. After all isn't it suppose to be, by the people, for the people. Let the people decide.

Gettin' pretty tired of hearing about Mr. Bradley's family.

I don't think I'll vote for anyone who is related to anyone that I've ever heard of, or works for the County, is elected by voters in the county, etc.
We need some NEW blood!

In accepting the Conservative Party nomination,Bradley has already compromised his
alleged Democratic affiliation. Let him remain the standard bearer for two lines which have objectives distinct from that of the Democratic Party. Forget his name recognition and let us vote for one Democratic candidate or another. In November let's vote for a candidate who will not embarrass us by the reactionary views he has already embraced. It was bad enough when we didn't have the sense to oppose Don Williams the last time around.

To g williams and the 2:50 p.m. poster: the people will get to decide - in November. Bradley is already running on 2 lines: Conservative (wholly antithetical to the Democratic Party's ideologies) and the Independence Parties. The Committee Dems at the convention represented their fellow Dems - they've voted once, and the executive committee voted a second time. There is no need to vote against him a 3rd time in September. Bradley is wasting everyone's time and money, and the Democrats won't forget what he's done.
