Facebook Wars

Controversy surrounding Carl Paladino's appearance in Ulster County yesterday has cost GOP county chairwoman, Robin Yess two Facebook friendships, so we know it's serious at this point. Robin Yess posted the following as her status on Facebook: Robin Vaccai Yess "Ah well...I hated to do it, but I had to delete Billiam and Guy. Too bad that they don't know that I am one of the most gay-friendly Republicans in Ulster County. Bad behavior and inappropriate comments against me and my family will not help their cause. That's for sure. GOP Chair WAS on their team."

Robin's comments are in response to a picture of Robin Yess that was tagged to her facebook page by activist Billiam Van Roestenberg, that contained this caption: Robin Yess the Ulster County republican Chair is horrible she thinks wack-job teabagger paladino is "great!" Robin and her husband Lou Yess have a terrible contracting company where they rip off Hudson Valley residents shoddy unfinished work they never finish they lie and shakedown people - nice republicans ha?

Billiam's comments are out of line. I like Billiam but give me a break, making baseless accusations about a persons business and family is just over the top. I'm not sure what Guy Kemp's involvement was but he gave me such a hard time during the primary for attorney general that we don't speak anymore.

Don't worry me and Chairwoman Yess are still facebook friends.

Robin Yess can not have it both ways just like her buddy paladino can not have it both ways. Flip floppers plain and simple talking out of both sides of her mouth. paladino is a homophobe and racist and Robin Yess supports him, his views and statements. You can not say you like gay people but do not believe in equal rights.

Paladino sends e-mails depicting a horse having sex with a woman and another that included a pornographic video. He also sent out an e-mail depicting President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as a pimp and prostitute and one showing an airplane landing near black men with the caption "Holy Sh*t. run ni**ers, run!" "Obama Inauguration Rehearsal" e-mail was "flat-out racist," The Buffalo News reports that Paladino did not deny sending the e-mails. This is what republicans in Ulster County support and encourage- why did they endorse paladino??? Hateful Hateful HATEFUL!

Because we turned up in New Paltz and Kingston and pushed for answers to hateful comments about fellow Americans bigoted ideas about Gay American Farmers and gay American Doctors And Gay American Clergy; paladino apologized after saying the media was lying and his endorsements have now been rescinded. Now paladino is even less likely to be elected thanks to robin! Ms. Yess was greedy for power and attention and ignorant to think that she would bring him to Ulster County and to New Paltz in particular without thinking clearly. What kind of leader is she? Even if she has bigoted views and supports candidates that have no way winning we should have smarter people in charge of our political parties... yess way to go! As far as making an analogy of her way of doing business, she is an elected official and I know of four individuals that have had the worst time doing business with them.

Both of those guys are well recognized jerks. They are also both wind bags. Billiam, who loves to yell about discrimination especially against gays, is one of the most irresponsible people in the area. He constantly throws out nasty baseless accusations against people who he believes do not hold his views, especially about homosexuals. The most irresponsible part is that he does this to people he has either never met or never talked to about those views and would have no idea what their views actually are. This is clearly the case here. Has he ever had one conversation with Ms. Yess about her views on homosexuals? It appears not from his own comments. Then he justifies those comments based on her support of the of a candidate. To assume she supports everything that Palladino says or does is just moronic without speaking to her first, which he clearly did not think was worth doing. How about talking to her a bit and finding out where she stands before throwing around comments that she and her entire family are bigots and in the process trying to intentionally hurt people you really do not even know! Or how about keeping your mouth shut. Good for Ms. Yess. BTW I would assume Kemp was supporting Schneiderman in primary, real good choice. Not. I am sure Schneiderman will put a great deal of focus in the Hudson Valley and Upstate just like he did in the Senate....Good move Guy. Support another NYC centric candidate so the Hudson Valley falls further in the hole.

one who knows said...

Billiam - give us a break.

your selfish agenda is hurting good people.
Everything is NOT about you & your agenda.
There are bigger issues at stake here & if you think Andy-boi cuomo is gonna help your cause - remember it was the cuomo campaign that started the " Vote for Cuomo Not the Homo" in that campaign - remember ?
or werent you engaged then ? pun intended -

Robin is doing her job & you are doing yours.
as Bob Dylan sings " you're right from you're side & "she" is right from "hers"
one too many mornings & a thousand miles behind, "dude"

you were rude, rude, rude

face it,, you just like the spotlight, you dont really care about the issue,, just stirring the s**t,

Stop already you are RUDE & boring

Good for YOU, Jeremy

Billiam is a bully & a spotlight lover,

Robin is trying to do good for the County with bigger issues at stake than Billiam's aborted love life.
SHEEESH
shut up already ego-driven gay farmer

Billiam, I guess my only point is that whether it's true or not, clearly it was in responce to her support of Paladino and not in some way of you trying to protect a potential customer.

btw- I will say that I am sorry I did not attend your protest the other day, I would of been happy to but was unavailable.

And the day Paladino was being supported by Yess, three students on a Long Island bus beat up a 14-year-old boy calling him faggot, while the bus driver pulled over until they were finished and did not report this to the school district. These three students are now out on $1000 bail. http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local-beat/Teens-Charged-in-Anti-Gay-Bias-Attack-on-LI-104950939.html?code=2.tyORJ3I3vnzVKFcomM3DDQ__.3600.1287090000-1643508752|06J4kU8mk4Es88FdjM7bDmYPZBw

When any of you defend the actions of anyone who embraces a politician who says he is against equal rights for anyone who is not heterosexual, you are aiding and abetting bullying.

If you think that bullying does not happen in Ulster County schools, you are wrong, because I personally know that school children are being called faggot in the school and on the bus and no one does anything to stop them.

So keep attacking Billiam and me for standing up to bullies like Paladino and the people who encourage his bigotry, and we will use every constitutional means necessary to call you all out.

10:33 - how does supporting Schneiderman for AG put the HV further in the hole? As AG, he doesn't represent a district, he doesn't vote on issues, and he doesn't try to bring home the bacon. How does the AG "focus" on any particular geographic area? Do you have any idea what the AG does? If you did, you'd realize your comments (regarding Schneiderman, not necessarily about Billiam v. Yess) were moronic.

You insult God and people of Ulster County.

Rodbin Yess is mentally unstable. Christians and conservatives do not promote extreme graphic porn. Sick perverted images are not sent and laughed about by normal people. paladino's circus admitted to them, it is sickening. paladino and yess are looked down upon by the civilized world. The way yess screams at people and the way she supports a racist, sexist, homophobe is inexcusable. Since April the AP and other news organizations have published emails from Yess's buddy that are extreme to say the least.

links below show the disgusting emails that yess and paladino do not have a problem with:
http://wnymedia.net/paladino/

Do not lie and pander for votes claiming you are a Catholic. As a christian you can not get away with being a hypocrite for very long. And God knows and keeps track of people who support and keep the lies perpetuating. You insult God and people of Ulster County.

How could Robin Yess support and worse, bring such disgrace to Ulster County? Ulster County does not support this type of garbage and you all should let her know as I did. I love Ulster County and all the good people deserve better than this!

Anonymous and people like you say I have a lot of nerve but I do not know how you can say that.

How can you support someone going around spreading lies. Someone who is running for Gov. of the State of NY for Christs sake! Someone who is spreading hate just to get votes.

And the number one reason I will speak out against republicans is because they have been taken over by unreasonable extremist fundamentalists of the faaaarrrr right. . As a gay American I will go out on a limb and fight for my rights just as others have before me. Freedom and equality for all not just for the religious white right. You might not like the truth when it is staring you right in the face but people like me are doing it more and more. Instead of finding faults with people like me and faults of everything around us for a change I would like to hear from people like you anonymous, some suggestions of how we could improve and find solutions. It is very simple to me; republicans talk poorly and hate gay people and then young kids are bullied, beaten up and commit suicide.

And by the way I do not or can not discriminate against republicans; they are not a race or religion or protected class of any kind. republicans are a political party why do people like you treat it like a cult? republicans are thugs who I will fight like an enemy of bullies they are the extremists in our time and in my country.

You are very defensive of republicans if I were you I would take a few days and think about the fact that you are unable to admit real huge problems with the republican political machine.

Might I suggest that you seek help and try like an addict to disengage and break the addiction that this most toxic poison called the republican party has done to you. You are not thinking clearly my friend you sound like someone in the 1930's in Germany defending the Nazi's! You are not making any sense.

I have a busy day and rushing this out to you because I wanted to take time and reply because I care about you, my neighbors in Ulster County part of the remarkable Hudson Valley, I care about our country and mostly because I want to defend my actions in regard to fighting discrimination and ending Gay Apartheid; God put me here for a reason.

I guess under the scenarios presented below anyone who is a Bill Clinton fan then automatically supports cheating on your spouse....it makes no sense to suggest that someone going to a ralley automatically supports EVERYTHING that person stands for. Yess was doing what she was elected to do, support the Republican nominee, whether she agreed or not with everything he stands for. And to the AG comment...I seem to remember an AG named Dennis Vacco who clearly ignored all other parts of NYS except NYC and Buffalo. Of course AG's can focus on one region more than another. Many have. The easiest way is through how they break out use and distribute their limited resources...but there are several other ways as well. It is not that hard to figure out. And if they can't focus on one region, as you suggest, then why was every candidate pushing an upstate agenda during their primary. Perhaps you don't understand what the AG does or can do? The question is who will follow it. We have been fortunate that the last two focused outside NYC as well. Schneiderman will not as has been shown by his previous NYC centric actions in the Senate.

Isn't it interesting that people who attack some of us remain anonymous?
They have to hide, because if we found out who they were, they could be outed as trolls.

With friends like Robin, who needs enemies.

Perhaps Billiam is better off that Robin "defriended" him on Facebook.

I have been defriended by right wing bass turds as well, so Billiam is in good company, as far as I'm concerned.

11:03 - as a NYS senator, Schneiderman, like any representative, is going to focus on the region they represent. Does Kevin Cahill or John Bonacic focus on Rochester? Of course they don't - they don't represent that region. As AG, the focus will be all of NY...the white collar crime of Wall St., etc. How did Dennis Vacco ignore the remainder of the state? What went unnoticed that should've been pursued?
