CHILDS WINS SCHOOL BOARD RECOUNT

BREAKING NEWS: Rev. James Childs won a seat on the school board by a 4 vote margin after a recount was conducted. Congratulations to Rev. Childs, I'm very happy he was successful in his run for the school board. He's a good man and will do great things to move forward the district.

Amato was robbed. The Board didn't want him so they "found" more votes for Childs.

Totally agree with you 708. It was called, then it wasn't. amazing how 10 votes for Childs could be found in so few a pool

The School District Violated Election Law when they placed the title "Rev." before Mr. Childs and Mr. Costin's name. There is case law that came out of the 3rd. department of the Sup. Court. I think Amato should sue the district...

10:08 is right. A lawyer cannot run with "esq" after his name. A doctor or a reverend should not be able to use the title either.

They are not allowed to. The district violated the law.

We're happy you're happy.

This does sound somewhat strange that with so few votes cast they were able to "find" 10 votes for childs. Time to recount the recount

Much of what I hear, read, see and experience with this School Board seems to warrant much more investigation than it gets.

Way too many unanswered questions.

Where have all the watchdogs and investigative reporters gone since the passing of Gordon Webb???smitty

Very interesting. Let's put it this way.........who was there to witness the "counting" of the votes. This should be investigated. Did any reporter have the sense to ask?

The way I read it in today's daily freeman it would seem that Amato was not unhappy that he lost. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall that he would have been the odd man with votes down the road.
