Blaber, Your poll shows Sennett getting 70+ votes in one day and no one else getting more than 2 or 3?

THE FIX IS IN!

You are a disgrace to the Democrats!

How dare you allow this poll to continue when you KNOW it has been compromised?

BOOOOOOOO! Parete was beating both of those guys ...combined yesterday. Do you expect us to believe that all of these Sennett supporters just happened to log on yesterday? Come on, this is like the Bush administration with the lies.

If you expect us to support a person who will go to such lengths to win a lousy internet poll, well, forget it.

Hey don't forgot about Alan Wickman, I hear he's going to be there too.

It's Bernardo, not Beranrdo.

How did I "fix" the poll? Maybe an e-mail was sent out to Sennett's supporters..as one was sent out to Parete's....I promise that I did NOT fix the poll..anyone that does a blog can tell you that is not possible.

Blaber your polls are now a joke. So you set up a poll that Sennet was losing for a week and then suddenly he gets 70+ votes in 24 hours. PLEASE! This is not a poll it is a race to see how many of your friends have computers.

Wow! Some folks are getting very nervous and conspiratorial. No one can fix a blog poll. No matter who you support, there are only 300+ votes that count...the Ulster County Democratic Committee members. No one knows who is signing on to these polls? The vote this Fall is the only one that counts, take a breath.

"This is a good opportunity to come out and meet both of the candidates and hear them on a very important issue in Ulster County." Blaber, no one really believes that you care what anyone else has to say other than Mike Hein. Like all of a sudden Wickman or Bernardo is going to say something so prophetic that you are going to change your vote. Either you want this blog to be a 24/7 advertisement for Hein, or you want your "News and Commentary" to be taken seriously. Seriously Jeremy, you can't have it both ways. It's pretty obvious that it's a 24/7 ad for Hein. You say that you are for Auerbach, but I don't believe it. I think you support Quigley.

It's true, there is nothing Bernardo or Wikeman can say to change my vote...I am not an undecided voter, I know Mike Hein's record and will be supporting him this November. I do think the blog is fair though and shows both sides, I am right out in the open with who I support...I'm not going to pretend to be impartial and than favor a specific candidate..like most do.

As for the comptrollers race, I support Elliott Auerbach 110%, I believe he is the real deal and I will do whatever I can to help elect him as our first Comptroller. Matter of fact I am more enthused with helping Elliott then any other candidate, the guy is very inspiring.

Why would anyone think I support Quigley? I know the guy and I like him as a person but I would never vote for a Conservative Republican for County Wide Office. Not to mention Elliott Auerbach's experience in the public and private sector trump the very limited experience of Jim Quigley.

Limited experience of Jim Quigley?? The man deals with accounts in amounts greater than 5 times the entire county budget? Is that not experience?

Be honest Jeremy, your inspiration to support Auerbach is the same as Nick Woerner. You are pissed at him for suing Nick over his Nicks Uncle's housing project and the sweetheart deal he gave him on taxes while he still had the voted on the baord.

Don't try and BullSh*t us.

I suppose, by definition it is not a 'fix'. But what is VERY VERY easy (I've done this), you can copy the 'code' behind the poll, fix it in a way, that all buttons is a vote for one person, and embed the 'code' in an email. Send that email to 100 friends, simply asking them to press a button.

If you want to see it in action, leave me your email.

Alderman Cahill:

Quigley's experience is limited to the private sector. Elliott Auerbach has both public and private sector experience and is doing the job of Comptroller now for Ellenville. Quigley has never dealt with a governmental budget and dealt with the aspects that one involves.

833pm..I supported Elliott before Quigley even announced so your logic is flawed. Secondly, I do not dislike Quigley so it's not an anti- Quigley vote but very much a pro- Auerbach vote...the most qualified candidate running.

Is Hein doing campaigning on the taxpayer's time & dime?

Blaber you arguing that Quigley has only private experience does not hold any water. This guy deals in transactions that dwarf the county budget in size and complexity. Auerbach and co. have run Ellenville into the ground to the extent they are now selling the furniture. Don't you get it. Quigley's experience is unique for this area. It is time that someone from the private sector start running things the spending in this county is out of control.

Tourism? The first debate is going to be devoted to tourism? Our local leaders have been focusing on tourism for twenty years with no positive effect while companies and jobs flee our area and taxes continue to go through the roof... yet our two candidates for executive are going to debate tourism...someone better get their priorities in order and start talking about the issues that are effecting the daily residents of this county. We have been hearing about the great potential this area has for tourism for decades it is getting old.
