President Bill Clinton to stump for Hinchey in Binghamton

Former President Bill Clinton, who was recently polled as our most populat national figure, will stomp for Congressman Maurice Hinchey in Binghamton. Binghamton is the home turf of Congressman Hinchey's Republican opponent. I guess the big guns are being pulled out, not that Congressman Hinchey really has much to worry about.

Here is the press release:

Former President Bill Clinton will speak at a campaign rally for U.S. Rep. Maurice Hinchey on Monday, according to Hinchey’s campaign manager.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Holiday Inn at 2-8 Hawley St. in Binghamton. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the event is free and open to the public.

Hinchey, D-Hurley, represents New York’s 22nd Congressional District, which stretches from the Hudson Valley to New York’s Southern Tier. The district includes all of Ulster County as well as Binghamton. Hinchey is seeking a 10th two-year term in the House in the Nov. 2 election.

Hinchey campaign manager Liam Fitzsimmons said in an e-mail on Saturday that Clinton will “emphasize the need to continue moving the country forward by electing strong representatives like Hinchey who are fighting for middle-class families.”

How about Hinchey fighting the middle class! I guess Hinchey needs to bring in the reserves since he is in for a fight. No more oddball statements from the king of pork. Run Mo', Run. Have you heard his thoughts of how the previous administration let Osama bin laden escape? I believe that was the administration of Bill Clinton who said no to the military who had bin Laden and his camp followers in sight. So now Bill is stumping for Hinchey? Really!? Yeah, I feel your pain...

George Phillips is a know-nothing (like Rooney). It is amazing that people truly were satisfied with 8 years of Bush, with 6 of those years were a republican-controlled Congress. We were lied to (for the idiots who believed it) and stolen from. Clinton left this nation with a surplus, and Bush went to war and gave tax cuts. No president has ever given tax cuts during war time. Our economy is still in the toilet, and the only ones who did better under Bush were his friends who had contracts over in Iraq (e.g., Cheney and KBR).

And the republicans are furious that despite the fact that it's going to take years to recover from Bush fucking up this country, a Democratic president has not been able to fix it in less than 2 years. They're too impatient - but they had all the patience in the world when Bush kept changing his rationale about why we attacked a sovereign nation.

I personally don't like getting fucked in the ass by an elephant - but apparently the first two posters have such gaping assholes, they bend over and ask for more.

Clinton did not leave us a surplus. Please look on the division of budget website. Clinton added to the deficit every year. The budget surplus is a liberal fantasy, just like the fantasy that Hinchey is anything but a self serving dirtbag

8:51 - There is no "division of budget" on the federal level. There are state divisions of budget. So, I don't know where you're getting your facts from - Nevada, maybe?

Isn't that Harry Reid's domain? Nevada? So perhaps 8:51 does have his facts in place!
