Kick Off a Success

Over 30 people showed up tonight at my campaign kick-off for the Kingston School Board. It was a great time and I thank everyone who showed up as well as Shawn from the Reservoir Inn for having us. I talked tonight about my ideas for the future of the district and I feel very good about how things are progressing. I didn't have a camera so Alderman Madsen took a few pictures and e-mailed them to me....sorry I don't have more.

No drinks were thrown because the Mayor wasn't there ;)

Where is Waldo anyway?

Me suspects "waldo" is picking out drapes in an office somewhere in Albany.

Im sure the default Mayor, Jim Noble, is doing the same in City Hall.

8:35pm..... This rumor about Sottile retiring I think is just wishful thinking on the parts of his opponents.

10:08 First of all, anyone that is supporting me is no more important than anyone else. A person's support and friendship is what I value not their title. I just had this discussion with someone else. But, for the record Sheriff Van Blarcum, Supervisor Woerner, Lt. Sinagra, fmr. County Legislator Jim Kelley Smith and many others were in attendance that didn't make the photo blog...like I said I didn't have a camera with me. The pictures were kindly taken and e-mailed to me by Alderman Madsen.

Jeremy,

You are on the right track with your response to Anonymous 10:08. If you look closely at the blog photos, you will see Sheriff Van Blarcum present at the table.

It is quite benevolent of these listed public officials to attend your fundraiser, but most of them reside outside the city and can not vote for you.

Word of advice: your support and votes must come from within the City of Kingston for you to win a seat on the school board.

With that being said, I’m glad you had a good time. I am from the southern far end of the county, otherwise; I would have attended your function.

It should be also noted how big the Kingston School District happens to be. It covers Kingston, town of Kingston, Hurley, Ulster, Esopus, parts of Rosendale and even a small chunk of Woodstock.

Name another 20 year old in Ulster County who can bring people from all over the county together?

Half the people at the event were politicians 4 Blaber, but I saw the other half, who were concerned citizens who resided in the Kingston District showing their support for Blaber.

Jeremy is more popular than Sottile in the city these days.

Impressive.

If you win, please put the children's safety, welfare and education before all else...

Take care of yourself too...

And watch out for the wolves in the pasture!

Thank you.
