Richardson Out

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has dropped his bid for the Democratic nomination for President after a poor showing in New Hampshire. Governor Richardson ran a good race and I commend him on his efforts. I hope that the Governor will now come out and endorse Senator Clinton's candidacy.

Richardson was eminently qualified and it's too bad he didn't have a chance. A latino was just too unlikely. Interesting to note that he was the NRA pick. Which of the remaining top three will they court now? Somehow I think none.

Regardless of the name of the eventual Democratic nominee for president (Clinton, Obama, Edwards, who ever...) highly qualified Bill Richardson of New Mexico (a swing state) should be the nominee for veep.

Richardson would be an excellent choice for VP. That is if Edwards turns down Hillary's offer to be hers. It seems so likely.

Obama/Edwards in 2008, write it down.

Obama just mis-fired. I think he blew a head gasket. All of his supporters are getting Bradleyisms and burning bridges left and right. Looks like it might be McCain/Obama.
