A Fair and Balanced look at Ulster County Politics. Got a tip? E-mail the Blaber Tip Line : firstname.lastname@example.org
Look at that... all Democrats bringing these jobs to Ulster County. The Republicans didn't bring squat here over the past 25 years. This Solar thing is the real deal and it is catching on. Let's hope it keeps growing.
When the jobs are here then I will be happy. How is Armor Dynamics doing? That is the perfect example of our tax money being used to start a business that still hasn't produced, rumor has it that they don't even have money for office equipment. (and I thought that was going to be a heck of an employer)
Where do people send the applications for jobs?
why is Mike Hein there? he is an appointed Ulster County worker, not an elected official.....
8:31.... don't hold your breath
8:40 AM I really am doing this afternoon jogs and the other day I went jogging up the industrial park and the Armor Dynamics building is now up. A huge glass building..it looks great! I hope they are moving in soon.
Was Lenny there?
What ever happened to Tech City?? Where are those jobs??
"...create 400 new jobs in Ulster County over the next five years" (Hinchey Press Release). The next five years? THE NEXT FIVE YEARS? If the jobs aren't created today why bother with this project? Democrats says don't drill because we won't see any oil from it for 10 years. Using that line of logic WHO THE HECK CARES ABOUT 400 JOB IN 5 YEARS? Who knows if this business will even stay IN business for 5 years?I think we should be doing everything we can to reduce our dependence on foreign fuels. That's SOLAR, DRILLING, nuclear, wind, bio, EVERYTHING.
Some people would like to see jobs. Others think that seeing Blaber jog is more of an impressive fete.
To: Political Ammo,AMEN!
Name a single job Lance Maddeson has produced during his illustrious tenure.
This Solar thing is starting to look a lot like the UCDC (in the Charles Straub days).... Lots of money goes out to administration and salaries, no jobs or real business comes back into the county....
Lance has created his job!
On your next jog, look in the building. I heard they moved in, just have no business (waiting on gov't contract) and no furniture
Where is Steve Finkle - he was the guy who made this happen and whose salary and benefits are paid from the Kingston Business park.
